It's always study smart. People sit and work for like hours for the exams and when they get enough marks, they forget all that they have studied. That is not how it should be, If you study something, you should be able to remember it when you are in need of such information. I have many people in class, who study all day long and get top marks, but they do not know the basics. Instead, there are some people who just study all that is required and know a lot.
If you are talking from the examination point of view, then I would have to say that Study Smart is the only option because, considering all the other activities in which some people are involved all along the academic year, study hard is not really an option. So they would have to study smart to gain more marks.
Examinations are nothing but just a test of out knowledge. Although marks is not a measure. There are people, as I said before who would get top marks, but do not know anything about the subject, but there are people who are strong in Basics and thus get all the credit for their work.

Hi, I'm a student and I'd rather study in depth about the subjects that I'm going to study rather than read it all over a gain, the latter is consumes some amount of time but one may end up not really knowing about the subject. I usually study fast but I tend to understand what the subject is talking about. Have a Good Day.

I really think everyone should work toward to studying smart. Sure one can study hours on hours but that would all go to waste if the second u get up u forget everything.

I believe that studying smarter is better because you save a lot of your time and energy by doing it. When i was still studying I always listened to my teachers so that when the time comes for an exam I just review my notes one time and rely on the stock knowledge that has been sitting in my brain from all the time I spent listening to my teachers.
