What do you use to send money home or across the miles?

I'm used to send money before using western union and it cost me a lot. One day my friend shared about xoom. I tried it, it has both express and value. The value one takes 3-5 business days in order to get to the receiver. I did one last night, that was my first attempt for value and I was expecting that it will arrive by Friday. To my surprise, it did get there after an hour...WOw...that was so quick and I only paid 4.99 for that trasansaction instead of normally paying 2o or morw for other carriers.
