"DESTINY" Do you believe in such word?

Hi acmomcee. Well "destiny" means a lot. Destiny refers to a predetermined course of events. It may be conceived as a predetermined future, whether in general or of an individual. It is a concept based on the belief that there is a fixed natural order to the universe. I guess, this is base on our beliefs and perceptions in life. If we used to believe in this or that may happen, this will bring us to our destiny. We are the one who choose our roads to take, and we are the one who decides even for better or for worst. People are risk-taker some times and this way we are test by time.Thanks for the post my friend! Happy myLot!

I remember a movie that starred Marissa Tomei and Robert Downy Jr. I think it was entitled "Only You" where there was a line that said, "You make your own destiny." I think everyone already has a planned life. As we grow older, the decisions and choices we make change that planned life for us. I do believe that there IS always somebody out there for a certain person. Fate makes the two of them meet. I also believe that if it's for ou, God will find a way to make it/him/her yours.

I believe destiny gives you one person to love. And most people who do believe this think the one they are with is always the one, but thats not nessicarily true. You only know if you've gone through all odds to get this person, stay with this person, and do everything with this person. Love lasts a while, but true love lasts a lifetime. You should never take for granted those you love because, you dont know if they're 'the one' deep down. Fate brings you together, you can tear yourself apart.

yes, i believe in destiny. if two person are destined then no one can let stop them for being together.

For me this is a hard question....I guess I believe in destiny in the sense that we plan our life's lessons before we are born and I believe that we come back to this life to learn them and we pick and choose who will help us and we pick and choose the circumstances...However, I also believe we still have choices and they can take us off the path....Sorry if I didn't really answer you...this is truly a great question...I am going to have to think about it a little more....

When things go wrong , do not go our way or we are unsure of an outcome, we find it convenient to link it to our destiny. It is we who make our destiny.

sometimes, when i have brush with it. there are many times taht i think I am so much unlucky. however hard i try, i can't never get things right.so taht time i think its in my destiny to be unlucky everytime.

I think destiny is in the hand of men. It's our present actions which predict our future- that is the consequences of our actions are part of the future. I don't wholly believe in destiny.

Can say exactly destiny.Because i think that what is to be happened will be happened and no one has the power to stop it except God.And also it is according to our deeds that we are facing our destiny.It depends upon us how well we make our life. Destiny may be seen either as a fixed sequence of events that is inevitable and unchangeable, or that individuals choose their own destiny by choosing different paths in their life

I beleive in destiny , think of this why we are billions in this planet but why do we end up with the one we have right now? It is destiny .. Your are destined to be with each other whether you'll be good together or not your are bounded by destiny so as to continue this thread we call destiny.

I am a believer of destiny but sometimes when I am facing so much problems, hurt and confusion, I doubt its power. But when everything is alright once again, I realize that I have to pass all those stages to be what I am. Because if I've never experienced anything bad, I wouldn't learn, I wouldn't grow. I believe that everything happens for a reason. What and where we should be is already written, it just takes time to happen. Btu sometimes, I got weary waiting for that person destined to be with me. I don't know if I have yet to meet him or I already did, but I just let him go. Sometimes, I think does my decisions are meant to be that way. Because sometimes when I think about it, I've this thought that given another chance, I'm gonna change my stand. Oh I don't know. But I know I have to believe in destiny, because it is one of the reasons that I need to be able to hold on and wait.

hello there! i too am a believer of the word destiny - that we are right where we're supposed to be this exact time and place, and that whatever we do, if something is meant to happen, then it's gonna happen. i also believe that we have choices to make and it shapes the path we're in. and sometimes, no matter where those choices sway us, it would eventually lead us to our true calling as long as we continue injecting a positive outlook or energy in whatever we do. in addition to that, i believe that we are all destined to have a good, happy life. we just have to embrace it, work our way through it and keep the faith. just my two cents :)
