Making decisions is not easy specially on complicated things. It can be intimidating and time-consuming.I think it over and over again before i decide.Think the advantages and disadvantages of whatever i had decided. No decision is perfect and that all choices are made in a condition of some uncertainty.I do whatever i thought would be the best thing to do.

I usually ask my parents for their opinion. Although Im 18, and can make my own decisions, I trust my parents the most because they have alot more life experience and usually know what would be best. If I couldnt get their opinion first, I would go with my gut feeling, because it usually turns out to be the right decision.

I make many decisions everyday. I have 10 grandchildren and 3 children that I must influence everyday of my life. Everything I do has thoughts of them. I make sure they have what they need and things are taken care of for them. The same for my mother and my husband. I also do for myself, which I didn't use to do.
So I have much to do in the way of decisions.

sometimes i make spur of the moment decisions & then again i will have to give things alot of thought before i decide. i don't know which is best. u just have to do what u think is best.

I usually make decisions after I think about them for a while. I try not to do things on impulse because I don't want to make a foolish decision that I would regret later down the road.

I am not an impulsive type of person. Just like you it took hours for me to make a simple decision and could be month for a difficult one.
I usually ask people around me about what I've been thinking about something, especially the things related to my decision making. If I don't tell them what it's all about, they usually be honest about it, and that makes me easier to make decisions.
Especially money and relationship related problems, i usually let people around me made the decision for me. bad habit, i know, but that's all I can do

Some very good ideas here. My husband calls that "cost benefit." Does the cost outweigh the benefit? Sadly there are a lot of things that will influence a person into thinking that the cost will outweight the beefit, when they simply don't want to own up and take whatever responsibility they need to take. That's when an unbiased 3rd party can make all the difference in the world.
