i play counter strike through LAN, but now a days i have no LAN connection, so i want to play through internet, but always ping is very high, i cant play,my connection is 512kbps and vga card is 512 nvidia . have any idea ?

i dont know much about counter strike online but my suggestions is get bordband or i heard there is a place when you can pay money of a certin amout of time on a computer and u vs people or somthing rather.
any way hope this helps..
