I don't usually count words when posting but they said the longer the better points you got. I don't usually often spend lots of time here, just want to enjoy on different discussions. Now I'm busy, I spend less time here just when I'm free and got to relax then I do mylot. Keep on posting and you will surely get what you dreamed of and enjoy this site. Good luck!

I also dont count the words while posting to mylot but still, I just try to make posts as long as I can because in the response screen it says "please be as descriptive as possible" and it is what I am trying to do while I am making fun and making some money.
The money we are making from mylot is not a very good amount really. However, if you really have some free time to work on here and if you have some friends or relatives who would join under you and keep their activities on mylot, then you can make some serious money which would be enough to pay your bills and it is probably what you would ask from a website max.
Yes, of course money making is really important for me on mylot but also I am having fun too. If they didn't pay us to hang on here, I probably would sign in to mylot once or twice a year but now I am trying to increase it.
I am just really into the idea of making money from the internet. So, I am not trying to earn money while making fun but just trying to make fun while making money on here. So, the cents we recieve for per post is important to me and it is why I am looking for some discussions to give long and detailed answers but still, I don't think it could be considered as word counting because I simply don't count the words :)

When I first came across mylot it was because I was looking for ways to make money online. I was pretty excited when I found this site as I didn't know you could make money just by posting a few words. So I went gung ho and started posting like crazy and making a few dollars a day. But after being a member with mylot for about 3 months I slowed down a lot and didn't participate as much. I still made my $10 each and every month and still do. The most I have earned in one month was $27.50 and the least I have earned in one month is $10.00. It took a lot of posting to reach the $27.50 and really wasn't worth all the time it took me to earn it. I mean, I was on the internet and in mylot for about 15 hours a day. I realized after awhile that you can't make a lot of money here but I still participate because I now love the site. I am not just posting for the money anymore but it still does give me motivation to post more.

What do you mean? I don't count how many questions I discuss. I just make sure I answer all the questions.

I don not count my words. It would be a fruitless exercise. It would take longer to count than to type as I am a medium speed typist, not 90 wpm for me. However I do have an idea on what I am going to say before I start typing. I am fairly good at grammar and English so I get my thoughts down "on paper" easily. I do usually try for at least four lines unless my answer does not require it.
I agree if you are here for the money you might want to try elsewhere. However there are no sites paying large money right now, and when they do they attract the cheaters and the scammers so you have to hear about them early before the aforementioned bankrupt or overload the site. I think only a modest pay site like this where you have to work to get some original post will survive in the long run. However that does not stop the aforementioned from trying, I have seen them copy and paste other people's replies in the same thread, I guess just to get their post count up, too lazy or dishonest even to write a paragraph or two I guess.

It's quite difficult to count your words while posting and it's not a good idea i think, as you have already told, mylot is not all about making money, it is where you can share your thoughts with others.
Every discussion can not be of similar size, and it's quite difficult to restrict your thoughts to a particular numbers of words. So, I never think of counting words. I write whatevere I wish to.

I don't count the words nor dawdle on when something has already been said just make a post longer. I write until I'm finished, taking up just the amount of space I need.

I enjoy my time on myLot and I am happy with my earnings that come along with it. I post what I have to say and don't worry about how many words, but I do try to make what I post to be worthwhile to read and not just answer to say that I answered to score a point.
Since you're new here, you might like to read the articles I wrote about how to navigate myLot. I've put quite a bit of information in them. The link is on my profile.
Welcome, and enjoy!

I don't count words on my post here in my lot.
That will be boring to do. I don't care if my
response or post is long or short. As long that
i sent my message across I'm happy and contented.
About the earnings, it's just a rewards or bunos
something like that. Don't dream of too much
or else you'll get dis-appointed.

Well, you are a New member in myLot, and I welcome you here. You will find that in order to make $$ here, it is from your posting and starting New discussions, and the more you post here, the more you can make each day, but it will never reaplace what you can make from a Full time job, etc. but the extra is nice.
If you are wanting to make at least $1 a day, the best advice I can give, is to post to at least 30 new discussions, and start at least 1 New discussion here as well. When posting back to another discussion, you need to remember to stick to the topic posted, and also post at least 4 lines back to each discussion if you can as well.
Hope these are of some help for you, and wishing you the best.

If there was a rule about more words in a post equal more cents, then I probably would. But counting words would be too OC for me. I just make sure that I stick to a minimum of 4 lines for responses. I look at my earnings everyday though. Just trying to observe which I did earned me more, stuff like that.

I don't count my words as I post, but I do try and make all my posts at least 3 or 4 lines long. I am here mostly to have a good time replying to discussions and chatting but I am also here to make a little bit of extra cash. If you're trying to use Mylot to solely earn money, you're at the wrong place because you're better off getting a part-time job. I don't think it's that possible to make hundreds of dollars with this site, but it is quite possible to make $10 a month or so which may be good enough depending on how badly you need extra cash.
