beautiful people

hi there!
there are several in my life whom i consider beautiful. they may not exactly meet the standards of our own local beauty pageants, but these people have touched my life in one way or the other and made it beautiful.
their kindness and generosity, their warmth, their thoughtfulness, their sympathy--all these have touched my life and inspired me to do the same to others.
most of all, the most beautiful people that i consider are those who are prayerful. a lot of their time is spent basking in the presence of the Creator, Redeemer and Best Friend. their lives are so beautiful because they radiate the presence of God.
well, who are the people whom you consider beautiful in your life? how did they touch your life? can you consider beauty as only something external or something more than skin deep?

The most beautiful person I know would be my friend Maria. She is the most incredible person I have ever met. She is kind all the time and never expects anything back. It is hard to eplain but she is like an angel to me. When I met her I needed major lifting up and there she was. We became close very quickly and even though there is a big age difference between us we have still managed to be great friends.

Real beauty is not in the skin, thats obvious anyway.
I've known people like that. There are not many. Usually they are people who care more about God than the average person.
Prayer takes you to God, puts you in contact with Him and therefore your demeanour and personality improves.

yeah, it is really different when a person is prayerful right? you can really see in their attitude and the way they handle things. i think they are the most beautiful people.

Hello spoiled311,
I had a beautiful friend when I was studying in a boarding school. She is not only physically beautiful but her attitude is very hard to follow. She is sweet, speaks politely, respects others so much and always be there whenever you need someone to talk to. I remember an incident where she wore my slippers without telling me. I was angry and was looking for the pair when I saw her wearing mine. I wanted to scold her but when she opened her mouth and said sorry to me, gone all my anger! She didn't realize that the pair was mine as they looked like hers and we only had different size. I lost contact with her and really don't know her whereabout now.

I must admit that physical beauty catches my attention--being of the male species. But somehow, maybe because I have programmed my mind to think this way, it is inner beauty that really makes me like a person and admire a person. And those who don't have inner beauty, no matter how physically pretty they are, I end up ignoring. And they seem to suddenly look ugly. Yet those who are beautiful inside seems to end up making everything around them beautiful--the weather, the atmosphere, the surrounding etc. So to answer your question: beauty to me is something more than skin deep.

My mom.
She is beautiful... well, she is of course has a pretty face too even she is now getting older and always complaining about wrinkles in her eyes. But those wrinkles and white hair even makes her more beautiful. Those wrinkles showed how much she take to live a life to work hard to raise her children. Those white hair reminded me of how she tried surviving all the hard time having fight with me, the grown up daughter who decides to live her life the way she doesn't like it.
I always had fight with my mom, but despite of the fight, I love her, and that makes her beautiful.

I think beauty is the heart of a person. The appearance, smooth skin and beautiful body would change in time but the heart of a person remains the same through the years. For me beautiful people are those who extends themselves to other, those who goes out of their way to make the lives of other people more easier. They are those people who would inspire and motivate their neighbors. People who would care to stop and help a child or an elder. Beautiful people such as those is God's gift to humanity.

Hi spoiled. Beauty isn't only an external thing. I prefer the beauty of soul because it never end, different the external beauty that end with the time. What means a pretty face with a poor mind? we cannot live with a person like this because it bore us, but a person with a good mind and pretty soul is a gift in our lives.
