I just got some crab food in the mail that my husband had gotten me off e-bay I am assuming. This woman I guess has a thing she can dry food. is actually cool now my crabs have something extra and different and I give to them with there regualr food from time to time. They love it. dried carrots, rose petals, corn husk, peas and carrots and peppers and all kinds of stuff they really like it. It came in small little baggies. Do you ever get or give your lil hermies treats like this?

I've not given them dried food, other than their usual crab food, but I do offer them bits of fresh food (fruits and veggies) from time to time.

I give my hermies fresh veggies once in awhile (when I remember) but never heard of giving them dehydrated ones ... guess that would work though. I also give mine Betta food, supposed to be good for their shell color. My current set it is a 20 gal reptile tank (left from a snake I used to have) with only 3 hermies in it at the moment. I do plan to add to it, but will be moving in less then a month so it will have to wait til after then. I am curious though, what are you using as substrate? .. mine are in coco-fiber and seem to really like it. They dig all over, and hide in it a lot. ~Rachel
