Can anyone explain why in the world they want to give our children so many vaccines now? They want my daughter to have over 200 by the time she is 5 years old... Seriously!

200? I am sure you exaggerate. My son is 9 and didn't have nearly that many.

No, I am not exagerating. Keep in mind it would not be 200 shots, but 200 vaccines would be given if they had their way, a lot of times they do 2-5 in a shot. Personally we did religious exemption, we may pick some that she may need, but too many too fast following the "protocol"

I checked out my son vaccination sheet yesterday and he got about 12 shots total (most of the vaccines require multiple shots), only 2 of those covered more than 1 vaccine.

If we had followed the schedule they wanted us to follow our daughter would have had a shot a month until she was 2, with the first one being given within 30 minutes of birth and the last one being the 3 in one on her 2 year visit. Granted my daughter is only 2, so I don't know what it was even 5 years ago, I had no reason to look then.
Alwasy interested to hear different sides, the thing that brought this all up was a friend's child just had a severe reaction to a vaccine, we all have fingers crossed it ends up ok!

Yeah each year the dose goes up && children are also given more vaccines. But as a parent you have the right to pick && choose the vaccines. A child shouldn't be dosed that much@
&& they wonder why there is a rise in Autism && deaths of children from vaccines... well doh...
We chose to skip any further MMR vaccines that my kids might be due for... because the first vaccine MMR didn't set well with our son && he was months later diagnosed with Autism. Not saying the MMR caused it, but I will say it could of triggered it.
I don't trust vaccines 100%....

There hasn't been any scientific proof tht vaccines are the cause of autism. No one knows yet what causes autism.

here is a link you SHOULD read...

Even most doctors when asked by parents, can vaccines cause or trigger Autism, most of them will state "There is a chance they do. With or without MErcury, yes Autism can be triggered maybe even caused in some cases by Vaccines."
The truth is out there, why don't you take the time to study it before you comment me back.

I would think that it has something to do with providing the pharmacutical companies with huges amounts of cash! Most of my friends don't vaccinate their kids and their all fine. It's a culture of mass fear mongering that allows governments to push, sometimes force us to give crap we don't need to our kids so that the companies the governmant has interest in (the pharmacutical companies) can profit. Good on you for not doing what the doctor pushes on you. Most of them are brainwashed and have not a bone in their bodies for critical thought.

It sounds like such a scam to be vaccinated so many times. I mean, a month later, you would probably still have antibodies, or your body would know how to make them, so i think its excessive. And actually , watch out for mercury and formaldehyde in vaccines :( ive had 2 vaccines recently as an adult, not found of it, and not sure if its a good idea. 1st one i had was hep b for travelling,it didnt cause any problems but had formaldehyde in it. Second one was for Tetanus, i mean this is the worst, now i have numbness on my left side, i think it did more harm than good. The chances of catching tetanus in my own house is pretty low, since there shouldnt be many soil particles around. i had stepped on a sewing needle, and i think its prob not necessary to get a shot unless u get a puncture wound while in a place with soil.
