Oh...wait a minute...now I get it.
No my friend, I'd be lost without my mouse.
Never have just used commands before.
Like the other person said...it's like my third hand.

Yes I can use my system without the mouse it takes some getting use to but it can be done, you just need to use the windows key and the tab key to move around. also your arrow keys can help you scroll down a long page.

Yeah I can use it without a mouse. I find it nice for when I'm trying to show someone else how to do something and they're sitting in the chair and playing with the mouse. I just keyboard command my way into what I want. It's great that the ability to acces pretty much anything with just the keyboard is still floating around. Especially if your mouse starts to spazz out and die.

I'm doing it right now, been doing it for the past week or more. No mouse, just the keyboard and windows' mousekeys utility for using the keyboard as mouse. The mouse got busted, we bought a new one, but it wouldn't work, so the only option was the keyboard. It was horrible at first, but I've gotten used to it. But if I need to do some graphic works, I'll have to get out and buy a really good, working mouse.

I tried a using touch screen monitors and I think it feels better than with a mouse. Unfortunately touch screens are expensive.
I have also used touch pads on laptops but they are good only for pointing. I find it hard to draw using them.
Other than that, I find it hard to use a computer without a mouse. I don't think I can use other softwares other than microsoft word and notepad.

Yeah, I did a couple of times. It was hard but I was able to manage it though. There are quite a lot of keyboard shortcuts you can use in Windows and it will be very helpful when the time comes that you need to use the keyboard alone. Even navigating multiple windows/applications can be done without the mouse. It just takes a bit of skill to do without.

Yea i did once tried to use only the keyboard on one pc's at my school, and i didn't enjoy it. the only time i use the computer without the mouse is when i am working in DOS so i don't need mouse and i admit it's quite confortable. I'd rather use the mouse and less keyboard in general. Cheers.

I've managed to use a computer without a mouse, due to the fact that we are restricted not to. There is no mouse in the first place, and we don't really need a mouse in that instance because we're on a programming language IDE, and it's on DOS. But then I've find it very comfortable. Anyways when surfing the net it's such a hassle if you don't have a mouse. But I've once managed to do everything on an XP without a mouse, well except surfing the net. It gives my nogging a headache.
