Am I the only person who absoluetly HATES Vista? It doesn't work with half of my programs, and all they keep telling me is my other programs have the issue, but they never did before!

Sure, Vista has really a lot of problems. I think that Vista is only good for those programmers who needs Visual Studio 2008 with directx10. Anyways many users hate Vista because it has massive amounts of bug. But not everyone is dissatisfied with it. I for one, want a vista because I want to program with VS2008. I think that its framework is kind of different with XP, as it tends to have massive bugs when it comes to compatibility. If you hate it so much, go back with an XP.

Thanks for responding and I have tried to go back to XP but can't afford it, they want to charge me for it since they say I have Vista now wich is the best thing since sliced bread... :(

This is a really twisted suggestion, but can you try like software pirating? Or try to borrow a copy from someone, but then, it will not pass the WGA...Just forget what I said, I hope there's no Microsoft spy here hehe.

No you are not. Lots of people are having issues with it. It has been called an expensive downgrade. I am just learning to deal with it. The computer my husband bought in October came with it. You are not alone.

Thank you for your opinion, personally I can't stand it and it seems that others agree with me. You must just be smarter than me on the computer! Personally if my programs don't work with my Operating System and it is a constant problem I don't care how great it is, for me it sucks. As I told my computer guy (who believes as you do that Vista is the best thing since sliced bread), I have a computer that is like a rocket ship and if I wanted to go to the moon I would be in great shape... I just want to drive around the block!

Windows XP is still best for me compare to Windows Vista..Why i will share you my experience about using windows vista. I asked our client to email me the details of information..she did email it to me as we rushed time. then when i received the email in microsoft word format.., i wasn't able to open, why because our client uses a windows vista operating system and i hate it.., my computer operating is xp..it's time consuming..i have to look for a step online still on how to open a document comes from vista to xp. and we are running out of time that moment. that is why i still love windows xp anyhow.
