i work on the computer so i am infront of the computer for hours at a time, and my computer does something that i thought was weird...whenever i am on the computer(or have my computer on for like 9-10 hours at a time without restarting or something like that)the computer starts to slow down and not function as it should and i was just wondering if this was just my computer or if anyone else's computer does this as well,i was just wanting everyones opinion on this and if you know if i am doing something wrong? i shut it down everynight before i go to bed and before i go somewhere that i am going to be gone for awhile..i am also using windows vista...thanks for taking the time to read my discussion and i hope that you all have a great day today!

It's natural that the computer slows down after long hours of usage. Mine, for one, is running slow right now. And vista eats up RAM. So to simply put it(because I forgot the computer architecture lessons we have back at school), the RAM is like, you know, gets stressed. When the computer is on for a great amount of time, some hidden processes tends to eat up ram. so the longer you go, the more memory is used and so the computer tends to run slowly. Don't worry, it's also evident on me. Have a nice day.

Yes, my computer will get slow, after being on it for awhile. It will generally get the hour glass and just stay there. I will have to reboot it then it is okay until the next time. I usually do not have too many windows opened for that reason. I have windows 2000.
