Are u talking about the same story? I mean, are u asking if we prefer to watch a certain story on theaters than reading its book? Well, if that's what u mean, I prefer reading first before I watch the story on cinemas. Because the book version is more clear than movie version. But if you are talking about which do we prefer among watching or reading, I like watching coz in reading any book, it makes me sleepy. If i watch, I'm more entertained that way.

Movies never have the complete story. Reading the story gives you a better and complete picture so I like it more. :)

Hello! for me, time has something to do with whether I'll read or watch. If I have the time, I'd rather read a book/novel. I know I get more from reading, stretches my imagination, words coming to life and all that. But when a real good movie will be showing, and it happens to appeal to me, I'd find time to go watch.

Right so when I see a trailer of a new film I want go out searching for the book. I'll just search for the film. And may be after I've seen the film, I'll read the book.

i like reading a story then watching it later. stories in books are more detailed but watching it is more interesting with all those visuals and audios.

I like reading a story and then watching it! There are usually more details in the book than in the movie and yo do get more out of it.

I'd rather watch a story unfold. Movies are my passion as well as my life. Books used to take up my time back when I was in grade school. However, I don't really read anymore. Well if online stories and fan fiction count, then I guess I do. But I wouldn't go to a store and purchase a book. I'd rather spend my money on movies.

You get more of the story when you read. But then, visuals is good too. So I say I go for both. I read, and I watch movies. A good example where you get more out of reading than watching is Harry Potter. Sometimes even the story is altered just to fit the feel of the movie. But by reading it, you get more of the story.
