My life is getting busier by the day, and i really cant spare time to read good books lately. The traffic is becoming worse, and its mainly because of that, that i cant get much spare time. What aboutyou, do you still have time to read good books?

Nowadays I also find less and less time for actual reading. Interestingly enough, I tend to download many ebooks (a lot of them centered on programming) but I don't actually read them. Instead, they just sit on my harddrive for many months. Sometimes I wonder if it's OCD that makes me download books I know I'll almost never read...

Nowadays I'm also far too busy to read books. A lot of my time is spent reading textbooks, doing assignments and other activities (including trying to work and make extra money) and I have to force myself to have time to read books. Lately I've tried the method of reading ten pages a night before I go to bed. I've only started this week though and the method seems to slow for me to actually like the book (because i don't like having my reading-high cut off) but it's a matter of spending your time wisely, so i force myself to practice it this way (:

I know exactly what you mean! I find myself running from one thing to the next never get a chance to read those books that I have bought. So, I have started to MAKE time for reading. I can plan during my day at work that tonight when I get home I will make dinner, eat and then spend the evening reading - no TV or computer just to read that book. Then I get pretty excited about that. Also, I normally read a few chapter in a book every night before I go to bed. That makes me calm down and relax after a busy day so it is a real good remedy against sleeping problems. After reading for a while my body is relaxed and I go to sleep and sleep well all night! Hope you get some time to read, it is such a loss when people today never read books! I feel that they are missing so much!

Unfortunately, it is becoming difficult by the day. With family and now a baby to care for, more work keeping in mind new responsibilities. It is really going to be impossible to read though that would itself be hard. I hope once things settle down a bit, then I can begin to get some time to read and also some apare money to buy books!

I used to love reading.. But now that I am in college, I can only read school books. I dont have time to read books that I really like. Before, I read book for fun. Now, I read boring books so I can catch up with my lessons..

Yeah, me too. I now lack the time to read books. I have tons of ebooks here about programming that I haven't even touched, and my book collection is now dusty, nad i still have like three title there that I haven't read yet. But I hope the children of today get to read books while they're young. When they get old they will laso tend to lose the time they would spend in reading books.
