Having a Blog is like Having a Business

I have heard alot of talk about blog's. I don't have one of my own what do you write stories, articles or anythng that comes to mind? Can you make good money from doing this? I might check into it and see if I want to do it for it does sound interesting. What is some good places to start a blog? I think it would be good if I know it's going to pay but it's what to write about that would get me for I can write but they probably wouldn't like it. Could you give me some information on this blogging thing and I will look into it very much appreciated thanks.

I am learning about blogging now. Where do you learn the technical skills for blogging? In Malaysia there are famous bloggers like CFLiew and GobalaKrishnan. Di d you take IT skills on how to set up blog?

Yes, having a blog is like having a baby. You need to know how 2 take care of it, feed it and make it grow. The problem is people know how 2 start a blog, but dunno how to maintain it. Additionally to maintain it, they might not know how to monetize it. Seems easy..but it takes a person with the right mindset and essence to make it for long term. As for me, my blog is a platform to other websites..that's how i value add my readers. Should you need some pointers, PM me. I'll c how i can support in your endeavours.

Hi sdas86, i strongly agree on what you have said. Blogging can be a type of business if you intend to blog in such a way. I said so because i have some friends who blog just for their interest. You can only see their profile and those posts they wrote, that's all. No doubt, there are a lot of blogger making huge income through blogging also.

It is a business if it is done for the purpose of money and should be treated as such. One must provide time to a blog as well as creativity. People have to be interested in what you have to say. Otherwise it will probably not receive very much traffic. Do you have any tips on how to get visitors? That is other than telling me to visit your blog.
