Is it a shower or bath for you?

I personally prefer to shower as it is quicker. I do have a bath on the odd occassion but very rarely. I get in there and after about 5 minutes I think now what? I don't like the thought of laying around in my own dirt!! LOL I give my kids a shower during the week and they have a bath always on a Sunday night before school the next day. I always say that it cleans out all their little nooks and crannys and removes the dirt from their fingernails but I always shower them down afterwards and wash their hair.
So what do you prefer, a shower or bath?

Last Christmas we installed a heart stoppingly expensive shower where our bath used to be. I don't miss the bath at all. I walk in. Shower and walk out. Occasionally if I am in an hotel I will have a quick soak before bed. But showers are definitely the way to go. I did once spend 5 minutes in a toilet on a camp site in France looking for the shower head! They look curiously similar to each other over there.

I take showers and hardly ever have time for a bath. Kids will do that to you, lol. I like a bath because it's so relaxing. If I do get the chance, I take a good book with me and read it. I like that a bath really soaks and softens the skin. The nook and cranny thing is not that far off. When I scrub myself thoroughly at the end, I feel more dirt came off than just in a shower. I actually feel cleaner. But yes, you have to shower off to finish or you take some dirt back out with you;)

In many cases, bathing is the better option. The reason of saying that is because you spend more time cleaning all the dirt. If you go for bath for the time, it will take a long time and that will cost more on water and electricity bill that you will need to pay for.

Oh it is definitely a shower for me! I haven't taken a bath since I was a little kid, maybe 5 years old. So, it has been a while! Once I was old enough to take a shower I didn't want to bother with baths anymore as I didn't want to be in a grungy water. Yuck! The only way I would ever want to take a bath now is if I just took a shower, but what a waste of water that would be. So why bother with a bath when a shower can be just as relaxing, and it's get's the job done better.

I used to always take bubble baths. Now I take showers only. I like to scrub down real good with the water off. Then I turn the shower off to rinse off. I do this about three times. I do this because I think the soap can really do it's job withour being watered down as the shower water is continuously pouring on you. Afterwards, I am squeaky clean

Hi Humbug, I prefer to take shower as it’s easier, faster and more convenient. I don’t have to take extra time and the trouble to prepare a bathtub of water. I could take shower at anytime as I wish. It’s so easy that I just have to turn on the hot or cold water faucet and let the water falling on me. The weather in our country is hot most of the time and I usually take two or three showers a day. So it’s easy for me to take shower anyway.
I would take a bath occasionally in the late evening of a raining day. It’s very comfortable to lie in the bathtub full of hot warm water. The temperature of the water always makes me to feel comfy and relaxed. It could get rid of my fatigue totally. I would fall asleep easily after having a hot water bath.
posting and have a nice day.

The only option I have at home is the shower. So no bath for me. Unless I'm staying in a hotel for a while, it'd be nice to take advantage of a good bath. I seem to be always in a hurry or always on the go, so shower will do for now.

I take mostly showers but once in awhile I will take a bath add some almond and olive oil to it and just soak away all of my cares and skin dryness.

I prefer taking a shower. I have a problem with kidney infections and my doctor tells me that it's not healthy to lay around in a tub, that you have more of a chance of getting infection that way. Every once in a while I do take a bubble bath though, even though the way my doctor talks, I shouldn't. I usually just hop in the shower and hop back out so I can be on my way. We just got a massaging shower head so I look forward to taking a shower. I love just letting the water hit my back, it helps me not be so tense after a day at work.
