a few hours ago when me and my mom ate our dinner, my mom told me that she wants to have a business, something that she loves, like caring for baby's, cooking, and washing clothes. Then It took me an idea. I told her "why not having a laundry business?, because we are within the city and our neighbors are all boarding houses and apartments and dormitories. Then she laugh and ask me how? I told her that I have my little savings inable for us to buy a washing machine with a spinner. Then she said, "thats a good idea i like that very much" "Thanks anak" And by tomorrow we are going to buy the machine and start our little business.
ANAK - a filipino word for son/daughtter, kid,or whatsoever that you call to your children.

I think that's a wonderful idea. You will be providing a service to the people in your area that need it.
Make sure you put a lot of thought into it, how much it's going to cost you in supplies and electricity, etc, to wash and dry the clothes, and factor that into how much you will charge to do the job.
Good luck!

Hi. Good for you. I wish you all the very best. A long time back, somebody did give me this idea to do it in our basement. But that entailed buying at least five washing machines, for which I had to take a loan. Somehow though, it did not get through. Do it with one washing machine, and then you can expand as you ear. Your mom can be proud of you.

Hi, I'm Filipino as well. How do you go about in this business? Are you going to contact these people and offer services to them? I'm just wondering. Also, did you consider having a car for collecting batches of laundry or you'll do it in small time first. I'm interested in bveing educated in this type of business.

Well we are just starting, we are too far away on buying cars fo the delivery. Our AIM now is to contact the students living near us for us to wash their clothes. Because I have seen that they always made their clothes wash into a laundry shop which is a few blocks away from us. And we have the right place to have the shop.

I wish you much success with your business! That sounds like a great idea! Getting a business started and establishing a customer base is the hardest part in my opinion, then it all gets easier. Good luck!

Yes, location, location, location.
But very happy for you! Make sure people need to wash clothes where you are around. You would probably need to rent out a place though, or put your phone number out there and pick up their laundry by car, then wash it. That might help until you have enough savings, and know that the business is worth it. And good luck!

People getting more busy their lifestyle so sometime they neglect to do house chore such as stockpile of used clothes in their bin so in order to wash in without constraining their time and make more life easier they pay service for laundry shop. Price is cheap and the its quality so really good.

Great idea with a real need. You are a respectable son! Be sure to make a plan before you start. Find out what potential customers can afford and what your costs would be to provide the service. Make lists and think about what if? senarios before you buy the washer.
