you are very smart to not do it again. be wise and learn from the bad experience. good for you to determine to do that. some people don't. they are miserable a lot.
a little okay. stay smart.

Oh I remember well my first hang over, it was vodka and I hate it now and won't touch the stuff. Your on your knees, face in that toilet bowl, liquids dripping from your nose and mouth, your saying I promise I will never drink again, please pull me through this, your head is pounding. As soon as you go to lay down you feel another tidal wave of fluids on their way up and you wonder if you can ran fast enough to get to that porcelain bowl again - which by the way your so grateful that it's big enough to accommodate your face and whole head. Horrible experience and many of us have gone though it. Feel better my friend. Hahaha!

My first drunk experience was very bad too. It was so bad that I too swore not to do it again. It happened 3 years ago and till today, I do not allow myself to get drunk.
Three years ago, I first experienced drinking. My friends knew that I can't drink and they deliberately tried to make me drunk They succeeded as I started feeling dizzy for 2 glasses of Chivas mixed with a soft drink. After a while, I concussed. I was unaware of what happened after that.
Next morning, I woke up in my friend's house. I was in the living room. My friend was in her room sleeping like a log. My head felt very heavy and I was walking unsteadily. I managed to find the key, made my way out, hailed a taxi and reached home. First thing I did when I reached home was to sleep. My hangover lasted the Entire day!!
According to my friends, I did not vomit at all. Also, I was a very 'loud' drunkard. I was singing and dancing when I was drunk. I also said some things I shouldn't say when I was drunk. I couldn't remember all these. (Main reason why I never want to be drunk again).

We all say never again too and yet it does seem to happen on accasion just one too many or a mix of drinks and BOOM it hits and your'e drunk instead of merry. Ellie :D

I have drunk to the point of not being able to stand up and to the point of my face going numb. I have always been lucky in that I have never been sick!
I have swore on more occasions than I remember that I will never do it again, it took me quite a few years to get to the point where I actually did not LOL

Oh che, I was about to go to bed when I saw your post. Yes, that's what we call hang-over. I've been a heavy drinker before but never to a point of throwing up. I know when I'm about to get drunk. I feel sleepy. But the awful part of it is the aftermath (hang-over), Oh that really is irritating. Whenever I have hang-over, I just drink anything cold, to some they take something hot. But I'm the opposite. Well, I guess, you need some rest. LOL. HUGZ my friend!

Wow good for you, we all need to experience this feeling once in our lifetime. Mine was the night of our stag & doe. After doing i don't know how many jello shooters, the effects don't hit you right away it takes a while. I was so drunk I barely remember going home and I was so sick the next day. That was 8 years ago and do you think I have done that again not a chance. I still have a drink here and there but I definately never want to feel like that again so I only have a one or two limit.

Hello checapricorn,
I don't drink cause I don't like the idea of not being myself. Well, it is just me and I am not saying that it is bad when you drink *smiles* At least, you know how helpful your husband could be *laughs* By the way, tell me....are you still swearing that you won't get drunk again?

yup and the worst time i got drunk that i felt so sick and vomited as much as if there is nothing left for me to vomit except for the acids. i couldn't even eat a slice of mango because of the fear i might just throw everything up and the bitter taste of my tongue is awful. i could not even appreciate the taste of its sweetness.
but this is true that if this happens to you, all you must do is drink lots of water and that will stop you from vomiting.
by the way, i hit my head on a bench and when i woke up there left a mark of on my forehead. hahaha!!!
i never remembered anything that happened when i got drunk. my boyfriend just told me what i did and how horrible i was during that night. i never ate at that resto for like a month because of the embarrassment that i felt and i fear that they might recognize my face and talk about me. hahaha!!!
another thing, when they brought me out of the place to ride me in our van, i was being carried because i could not walk on my own..

I was drunk one time when I was younger (under 21) and I swore I would never do it again. I woke up in the morning with a bruise on my nose and didn't know how it got there. My friends said I was getting out of the car and hit it on the door.
I couldn't stand the thought of being somewhere and doing something and not knowing anything about it.
But then when I was 21 something happened again.
I went out with some friends and on the way home (I was driving) and my friend wanted to stop and look at a house where a guy she liked lived. (she always had to check out their houses before she'd go out with them, Lol.)
So I stopped in front of his house and she told me to turn the headlights off so he wouldn't know we were out there.
We were stopped on the wrong side of the street, and I didn't realize that it was midnight, dark out, I was sitting in a car on the wrong side of the street, without the headlights on, and a car came driving right at us!
At the very last second, I flipped on the headlights and the car got stopped before running into us.
That was it. No more for me.

i drunk and been drunk a lot of times. i am a person that when i am in a celebration, i feel that there was no more tomorrow, i drink a lot. but that was before. i am afraid i could not remember what i was doing during the time of celebration, the time i went home, if i drive the bike with myself or just let somebody drove for me. i am now afraid to get drunk, outside the house. and even if i drink at home, i make sure i drink moderately. getting drunk at night, also feels like i am sick in the morning.

lol...it happened to me almost 9 years ago when we were newly married. It was the first time I was having a drink and my husband got me some scotch because I wanted to try it. I didn't like the taste...so I gulped down one peg...and then he poured me another which I gulped down...and another and another. The way I was gulping it down my husband felt I was used to drinking and he kept pouring me some more as I emptied the glass each time. And I kept wondering why I wasn't even feeling anything...and kept telling him that it wasn't kicking in. In a couple of minutes I realized that it had kicked in. I couldn't coordinate any part of my body though I was thinking right. I can't describe all the things I did that day. I threw up twice....and swore I'd never ever drink again. And I didn't take a another drink till 2 months back when I took around 4 sips of vodka mixed in a soft drink.
