She's Different

Ack! A Tess discussion and I wasn't invited? ::listens to the voices as they yell "maybe if you logged into the lot once in awhile you'd know" hehe:: I have had the pleasure of knowing Tess for almost 10 years and I must agree that the song does do her justice. Her most endearing quality? Honesty. For this reason, she has no grey areas when it comes to socializing. People either love her, or hate her. I am so glad to know that she's found so many here on the lot that love her. Unfortunately, being the Sagittarius nutcase that I am, I must add alittle humor to this discussion. If I am not around for awhile after, it's because I'm being beaten hehe. A few days ago, we had a most entertaining experience. Our daughters friends mother had just dropped our daughter off from a birthday party. The two wee ones scattered off to have fun whilst the mothers had some girl time. Being the girly man that I am, I of course had to join in. About two hours later, whilst discussing society in our small town, the mother dropped a bomb on us that neither of us would have expected in our entire lives. First, please note that we live in a small rural cul-de-sac town full of stepford wives and busy body gossip mongerers. Your typical "we're snooty and rich even though all our credit cards are maxed and we have 38 cents in our pockets" kinda people. So we're in this small town, with this woman in our kitchen just chatting away, and WHAM. She hits us with a louisville slugger. What did she say exactly? "I like you guys, you're the only normal people I've met in town." My wife and I looked at each other, no clue how to react. Finally I just blurted it out, "Normal???? You think we're normal???" I have used many adjectives in my life to describe Tess, and being a poet and short story writer, that's saying alot. Exquisite. Unigue. Intense. Intelligent. Sasparillic (for those who don't know this word, "makes you feel fizzy inside".) However, normal has never before entered into the descriptive vocabulary utilized in my relationship. So alas... somone out there seems to think we're normal. Hope that brought alittle smile to everyone. I love you baby.

Tess is a wonder. I wish I could be there with you two as you go on your adventures together. Being apart as we are I'll have to settle for the stories you tell and the times with our Meg. You are both blessed to have each other. Your wish will come true, who knows maybe our Meg has seen you dancing in the moon light and would like to join you and will when she so chooses.

I do not know Tess but I will say Hello to her If she means that much to you then I know she has to be a good Person Hugs to you and Hugs to Tess

What a way to praise and thank your friend Tess. She started an 'interest group' in your name and in turn you have written such an awesome poem about her. Great friendship between you both, may God bless you both. Hats off to you for your way of expression for your dear friend.

Hey Sparx! Good job. I like Tessah though we haven't crossed each other's paths all that often. The best thing about her is you always no where you stand with her and she pulls no punches. So, hello again Tessah, congrats on your own interest group! You deserve it! *pats Tessah on the back*

Hi Sparky... well haven't had the pleasure of really meeting Tess like the rest of you..just became friends and i'm sure it will go from there ..now if you and Nova and MYKL love her i'm sure i will too..oh yes i forgot she's attracted Megs attention so there you go!
