How Will You Spend The Day Alone at Home?

There's a lot of things that I could do if I will be left alone at home. First is to surf the net... write a blog about the current situation, participate to forums that's interests me, and review some posts... I can do these stuff while listening to my favorite songs (preferrably Celine Dions's songs lol). Then I could go to my garden, water my flowers and remove the existing weeds.. After that you can just sit and enjoy the flowers around you, the chirping of the birds, and the butterflies flying by.. And while enjoying the fresh air, I can read my books. I love reading, it relaxes me.. I could also browse the file of albums we have.. Kinda reminiscing memories.. Pictures brings you back the happy memories, am sure if you do this, it will give smile on your face, trust me.. Could also do srapbooking.. Gosh, how I wish I could be alone for a while hahaha.. But it's so impossible if you have two small ornery kids..

i'd like to listen to love songs, watch movies and do productive stuffs like cleaning the house, toilets and my bedroom. i'll do everything to make myself busy rather than doing nothing and get bored.

i can actually survive a week being alone at home. when my boyfriend went to london for more than a week, i was left alone and i did not mind it (but honestly, it was boring being alone). anyway, i did survive watching telly, movies, surfing the net, cleaning the apartment, playing with my cats and going to the grocery store atleast twice a week to shop for food. anne

i am always home alone specially on days that my children are at school. i have four children, one in college and one three at high school. i always make my chores when they are not around. during weekends they will be the one who will be doing the chores. i also watch something on tv but i can multi-task even watching tv. lucky your brother is not my son lol, i might twist his neck. lol

I will never get bored when I am alone. There are so many things that i can do. Reading will first preferece, as like reading very much, whatever it may be, newspaper, story book or anything else. Then i will spend my time just surfing anything new or interesting subect. Also i like chatting with nebghbors, no age problem for me, i can chat with kids or also with seniors.

The absolute worst thing that could ever happen to me is to have no electricity. When this happens, I go tend my garden. I like gardening and it's a good way to pass the time when the usual things cannot be done. If it's night and there is no electricity then, I just take out the guitar and play some songs.

I will go to my friends house chat with them, go for beach and hotel thats how i enjoy my free time

I will useally watch a dvd,clean,and come on here to mylot. Mostly I come on here and do discussions and get so wrapped up in it that the time flies. I try to do other things as well just to get a break from here but always end up back here for it's so addicting. I like all the great discussions and stories everyone shares it's like my home away from home.

maybe i'll just watch tv or go surf the net. or try to go to the neighbor and have some chit chat

i just go online and chat with my friends on the net so that i wont get bored or text my friends and exchange ideas on things and i do listen to music or i watch my favorite movies on dvd.

I rarely get bored when I am alone at home...I usually plan well in advance,when ever my parents plan to go out...I love playing games,I cook some special food for myself...I watch movies,cartoons etc..,I play with my tenants kid for some time...I never know how the time passes..My parents come back...

well... i would like to sleep full day as no one will there to disturb me. Other than this i watch TV or chat with any friend on phone or play computer games. for me 24hours are nothing. I need at least one week to get bore if i have to spend time alone.

I spend my day chating with my friends on internet, anyway i cant spend my whole day chating with friends because they have to go to their office. I chat as long as they are available online. I use to respond to discussions posted on mylot and at the same time i use to check my mails, which i haven't checked.

well for me its quite simple................either i spend time on internet or i watch tv...........other time i sleep or sumtimes i cook food...sometimes being alone z too boring....but sometimes its gud as noone disturbs...while doing some work.........what abt u next....?????

I would go and do some house cleaning, watch some tv. talk on the phone, come onto mylot or maybe even read a book.

I love a day alone at home! I can always find something to do to be productive. I'm a writer so I will either write or I will be on my computer working on one of my businesses. Or, I'm spending time listening to teaching CDs. Or, I will find something to read. I am never bored! It sounds to me like your brother is lazy and will likely never make anything out of himself if he continues like this.

hi wendhieRN well I am home with my adult son but when he is working I am alone and retired so I mylot so I will not go bananas from all the free time. If I did not have my computer I do not know what I would do with myself, I could write of course and I do read a lot. I am handicapped so I cannot walk very far. but I am hap;py mylotting and go to town on bus ocassinally. so not too bad anyway.

I don't currently work, so I'm home alone during the week while my husband is working. I usually clean, do laundry, and cook dinner before he gets home. I like to do my blogging and catch up on the blogs I frequently read, as well as watch some TV and/or read, that way when he gets home from work we have time to spend together after dinner.

I will spend that time maybe reading or watching dvd or bake cookies, which is my favorite hobby and after I'm tired of doing all that, I'm going to sleep or just relax.
