question about pay on mylot

i have heard a few things now and i am not sure which one to believe and i was just hoping that you all could help me a little bit, i am not only on here for the money because i like trying to help people out when i can...but i was just wondering, do you get paid more when your stars are higher, or do you get paid more for discussions you answer or questions that you ask or comment or what...i don't know about any of this and i have wondered for awhile now and i still don't have a solid answer to it so i was just wondering if some of you that have been here for awhile might be able to help me, i really hope that you can because i don't think that i am the only one that wonders this honestly...thanks for taking the time to read my discussion and i hope that you all have a great day!

Mylot does not publish this information so it's impossible to know. I think that they don't say because they would like for every poster here to do his or her best at all times. That makes this place a nicer place to visit and probably makes the advertizers pretty happy, too.

to be honest with you, i also don't know he answer... i'm not sure if the star ratings have anything to do at all with the earnings... i had heard some people say before that the higher your rating, the higher your earnings is... but i don't think so... it is best for you to ask the admin straight away to get a clearer answer... take care and have a nice day...

Ok, it's complicated but I'll try to make it simple. We get paid more for higher quality posts. We get higher stars for higher quality posts. Technically a user with a higher star is probably earning more than someone with a lower star...but not because of the star but because of the quality which earns both the higher star and higher earnings.
As far as how much we get paid for certain activities...myLot does not tell us nor do they want us to figure it out. I think it's best to just assume that we get paid for everything we post and to give our best effort at all times.

We are being paid here mainly for responding to discussions and uploading images which are combined into one activity called participation. The more you participate the more you earn.
You don't get earnings if you started a post. You only earn through your post if someone would respond to your topic. Having lots of friends would be a lot of help cause' they will respond to your post and you will respond to theirs, then there is participation.
The star ratings, the number of posts, the best response received are not a part of participation. They are just additional features to get the users motivated to participate.

I don't think I'm going to be much help with this question
but I'll try. Mylot doesn't tell us how much they pay us
and for what. The stars are for ratings. You have obviously
been here alot longer than I have so you should know more
than I do. What I do know is that they want quality over
quantity. The better the post and discussion, the more
they pay. At least that's what I have been led to believe.
There is nothing written about this. For me I just do
the best I can, answer from my heart and enjoy my time
here with my mylot friends. That's what's important to me!

No! I think stars simply tell the world that you are doing very well and many people here have rated you-you dont get paid for it-you get paid for rating others though, for uploading pics to your discussions or responses and for posting many quality discussions and responses!
