How many of you use online coupons you can print off from the internet? I think I may have used some from Target for their store from their webpage. I have heard conflicting things about Walmart. Some people seem to say that they accept them and
others say they dont. What about grocery stores do they all take online coupons?

The Target store near my house has signs at each register with pictures of counterfeit coupons next to notices that they will no longer accept on-line coupons. Apparently, a lot of people thought the dates, etc., could be manipulated and nobody would ever know. It seems as if, everywhere we turn lately, something is being restricted as a result of people who find ways to cheat on the rules.

bummer. They should accept them for their own store though.

They'd lose too much money if there are a lot of counterfeits around. It just hurts their customers now.

Usually Walmart will take them, but it depends on what cashier you get and if they will scan.

I started using online coupons a couple of months ago. I have a tool bar for coupons which directs me to items on my shopping list and this way I don't have to read through all the coupons and only print the ones I am interested in. I use them at the grocery store all the time and don't have any problem whatsoever. You can check my blog which is located on my profile and the first entry for June 2008 has several good sites for free coupons and grocery deals if you need any. Good luck to you!

I'm not sure about other companies but I've used it in 3 places... I've used it few times in blockbuster, Acme & Home Depot... They've seem to work fine... I get these junk emails in my yahoo email address... I can't remember what the name of the site is but the times I get it, I do print it & Acme honored them all the times I've used them...

I'm not certain about WalMart, since I never shop there.
It varies by grocery store. Some have stopped taking them due to fraud. Thankfully, the store I usually shop at (when I go to a major chain, rather than local producers) does take them.

I live in Highlands County, Florida, and there are no stores in this area that accept online coupons unless they came from their store's website. Wel*Mart used to accept them five or six years ago, but they haven't since then. I envy everyone who can use these coupons because there are so many and I imagine they can add up to quite a savings.

I have used them at most of our local supermarkets and not had a problem. There was once I had a coupon that didnt print as well as it should have. They told me that they shouldnt take it but they did anyway. So far I love the ease of it all.

Here is Walmart's coupon policy, print it out and make sure you carry it with you to Walmart.

I have not had to use it yet, but you never know when you will need it.
I know some of the smaller grocery store chains, do not accept internet coupons.
I know most won't take Free Internet coupons because of some fraud issues several years ago.

Yes, I use coupons whenever possible. I always have. Also, I used to be able to use coupons printed off of the internet at Walmart but about 2 years ago I was trying to redeem a coupon that had a pin number at the bottom. I had signed up at the website and this manufacturer printed a unique pin number or customer number at the bottom of the coupon as a precaution to prevent fraud. Anyways, Walmart would not accept it and pretty much said it was a fraudulent coupon and their stance was that internet coupons were fraudulent. Well, this sucked as I had printed out my coupon one time and that is what this was. But they would not accept it and I was never able to redeem it anywhere.
Most of the local grocery stores, and I know Target, will accept printed out coupons.

Why put them out there if the retailers refuse to accept them?[/i]

I have used online coupons at walmart. They have no problem with them, and they didnt even say a word about it, they just scanned them, i got my money off, and that was it. Most grocery stores take online coupons they are just like coupons that you clip so you need not worry if they will work or not. Have a great day my friend!

I haven't had any trouble at Walmart. I've also used them at Dillions and Price Cutter grocery stores. I've used them at Walgreens and CVS without trouble. Target is the only place in town that has given me problems.

I have never used any because they don't have barcodes so I don't know how they do take them. Someone explain it to me too.

Wal Mart does take online coupons. I use them all the time and have had no problems. I also work for them. The grocery stores where I live take online coupons as well.

I used to print them out, but way back in 2000, the stores where I lived already started refusing them, so I stopped using them. Most of the places that have loyalty cards have coupons you can load onto your card, then when you buy that item, you get the special coupon price.
