Well, I'm going to sleep again...This time earlier, I tend to lack some sleep because of mylot lately. So I hope when I wake up I can comment on the responses. What's the weirdest thing you did to a broken computer? And did it work afterwards? Hmm..let's see what things I did... Oh, I whammed the casing of my old computer, it stopped hanging for good. What else... I've let the hard drive fall about a feet and made it work I've let the playstation 2(off-topic) fall down from a vertical position to a horizontal position, and it worked. I've begged for mercy for the computer to work...well, it did. One time the computer was broken, and it was like our thesis defense that day. I was cursing the computer. When I said sorry to it, it worked! That's the weirdest results of my abusive nature to computers But the weirdest thing that I did was to turn a computer on then turn it off by pulling the switch for like n times. I don't know where I got the idea, I just thought punishing the computer would make it work. It did, but maybe that was the cause of the destruction of my RAM, as I've been told on a previous discussion. Ok good night(or day) to you guys.

I didn't do any weird things with my computer. Because I love my computer very much. However sometimes I get angry with my wireless modem when I get poor internet connection .But I haven't done any damage to it when I get angry (I throw it and break it only in my mind).

It's fine. I love mine too. It's just that sometimes I don't really know what to do. In the mind? Well, a modem, that I wouldn't throw. It's too fragile. Yeah, but I throw everything away, right? Heehee. Well, thanks for the response!

I've never done anything PHYSICAL, if I'm having problems I will go as far as reinstalling Windows but never anything physical that could damage it. On the other hand I have a friend who will pick it up and throw it. This has never been known to help, though. LOL

Broken Computer - Poor Broken Computer
As a computer tech I have tried everything to get computer to start...I have jammed a screw driver into the A: drive getting a massive shock but it turned one. I have even used a tazer and shocked it back to life. I have also dropped it, thrown it in a freezer overnight and all worked. But I dont recommend anyone to try these at home if you are having issues with you comupter get help with it dont damage it....

Shock?! Taser?! You're the man! I remember putting a hard drive on the freezer, but it has some basis. I usually gets shock from the static. But taser?! That's the coolest and weirdest that I've heard. Way to go. Have a nice day!

Well ever since the dawn of my troubleshooting days, i've done a fair number of weird things as I dabble with this technological piece of... I just can't forget the pain brought about by a crashing hard drive when all your files aren't backed up the way it should be. One time, it drove me and my brother into a crazy stuff of throwing HDs on the road and hitting them with another one from afar... guess what? some of them still worked after that!
