I have always loved that quotation of Thomas Edison's. I first read it when I was a teen, although what I read was, "I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that don't work." I also love this quote by Winston Churchill, "Success consists of going from failure to failure without loss of enthusiasm." And I absolutely love Ralph Waldo Emerson's definition of success: "Success: To laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded!"

If you never fail you won't appreciate success.

Thomas Edison was a very smart man after all he invented the light bulb which says a lot for him,and that saying is one hundred percent correct if you ask me,I have not say I failed one thousand times,I will say that I discovered there are one thousand ways that can cause failure,and I agree with you,you should always keep trying no matter how many times you fail,until you succeed,and more people should follow his wise words,thanks for sharing this with us.
