I have been a huge fan of rock music.I grew up listening to gnr and metallica.I would run home early from school to get a glimpse of my favorite singers on mtv.But I guess that's all classic music now.I don't see that kind of music anymore. It's the age of hip hop these days.So is rock music dead?So I decided to start this discussion to know about other peoples thoughts

I grew up with Aerosmith, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Boston, Toto, The Boss, Ac/dc ... just to name a few. I have not seen much rock at all lately & it's a crying shame since it is the best music I have ever heard. I do know that country rock is still going. I like little of the todays music.. but I have collected cassette tapes and cd's over the period of my life that I will never run out of rock. Kid's today have no idea what they're missing.. I think that if there is at least one person still hooked on rock then it will never die.

How true. Kids are really missing on the real music. Music is about the guitar riffs and the never ending vocals. I have an ever expanding collection of music myself and I make sure no one disturbs me when I am at listening to my collection.
