when to retire

I really believe that it depends mainly on an individual as to when he wants to retire from working. Personally, I would like to retire from working in an office at an early age of forty-five. By this time, I'd like to concentrate on taking care of our daughter and future children, if God permits. At present, I'm turning thirty-three this year and our daughter is turning three next month. It's still twelve years before my target age for retirement and I would like to believe that we are going to fulfill all the dreams my husband and I created and planned for, before finally staying at home. Honestly, we still don't have our own house and lot and savings for our children's future education. We also prefer to have our own lawful and lucrative family business which we are going to pass on to our future clan. Some may find it wishful thinking but I am quite positive that we are going to be able to save up at least twenty five thousand dollars before I finally quit working and tend our business. This amount is exclusive of our daughter's tuition fees, utility bills, and working capital for our business.

I'm 39 years old and I plan to retire from office work when I reach 40 years old. Though I'm not going to stop working it's just that I'm just changing my line of work. I enjoy working on the internet these days buying and selling on the internet. Working in an office is very tiring even when your just sitting on your table doing your stuff. So I just thought that with all the effort I put in to my work, what do I get in return, a retirement package? I would like to start putting all my efforts to a business that will really give me and my family the quality of life that I deserve while I'm still young and able. it will also give me the freedom to be with my family as it is a homebased business.
