Yesterday, I've posted a topic about suggestions whether I'd give my son a bike. Because of the overwhelming response from you my friends. I've finally made up my mind. And I want to thank all of you for enlightening my mind and helping decide on what I will do.
Guess what? One day before my son's birthday, I've bought him what he is longing for. His first ever bike. Just imagine how surprised he was while we're in the store. Because, I didn't tell him where we are going. I saw him shed a tear, a tear of happiness. He hugged me very tightly and told me "Thank you mommmy". I got teary eyed after hearing those sweet words. I let him choose which one he wanted. And when we got home. Oh, I couldn't stop him. He won't go down his bike, he keep hugging it and with all smiles on his face. I've never seen him so happy. He even brought his bike in school, but of course with my supervision.
Again, thanks to all those who've responded, suggested and who had given me advices to make my son happy on his 6th birthday. God bless to all. Happy myLotting. HUGZ!

What a lovely photo! I am so happy to hear that your son
is enjoying his bike.
My daughter wanted a bike for so long, but I was
worried that she could not handle it.
But then we got a wonderful bike at a second hand shop
for $12 and put training wheels on it.
Now she rides it inside the house.
We have a long kitchen/living room area
and she rides it constantly!
Our yard is too grassy and tough to ride a bike on.
So she rides indoors. Thank you for sharing this precious
moment with us.
(I'm sorry I accidentally posted multiple times
on your beautiful picture. It was a total accident
and no offense meant. I hit the post response button
and nothing happened and then hit it some more.
My computer is loading slow.)

P.S. While posting an apology on your photo, the Mylot machine
hit a glitch and posted the apology three or four times.
What a nightmare. Please don't think I did that on purpose.
Cause I didn't. I am having such trouble with my Internet connection
today.
It keeps posting doubles of everything. How embarrassing.

That is awsome! You definatly did make him happy. What a cute kid. We got my daughter a trike for her birthday. She turned 2 on the 20th. She's not quite tall enough yet to reach the peddles but she pushes with her legs all over the place. My son got his first real bike for his 3rd birthday. Just a small one from walmart, with training wills. He should be able to ride it for awhile...its not the smallest real bikes...but not quite the size of a regular sized bike. He absolutly loves it. Keeps begging us to takethe training wheels off, but I'm not quite ready for that LMAO....He will be 4 in October.

I got tears in my eyes just reading your post! There is nothing that feels so good as that "Thank you Mommy" hug you mention. I know now you feel in your heart you did the right thing by getting the bike. May he ride long, safe, and most of all happy!
