Some questions that although are not applicable to all, are applicable to a lot of people in the globe..
Why is it that fair skinned people usually want to be dark skinned, or at least just want to get a tan -- a permanent one at that, and dark skinned people want to bleach their entire body to get fair skin? It's very common in Asia for darker skinned citizens to want to become fairer than they really are..
Why is it that people with naturally straight hair want to curl their hair or even just give it a bit of a body and curly haired folks want to their hairs straightened? Again, quite common in Asia to want to have stick straight hair.
People with black hair want to dye it burgundy or blond or whatnot, and people with blond hair dye it to black, red, etc?
Why do you think people try to change the way they are?

My nephews were blond when they were babies but their hair has darkened to mid brown now they are older. The same is happening with my nieces and the youngest is now the only one with blond hair. I guess that she will get mid brown hair when she is older so she will probably dye her hair blond. I have dark brown hair and think it is too dark. Most of all I would like to have ginger curly or wavy hair but I put up with my natural color and straight hair.
I have pale white skin and coming home from my holiday to St Lucia people said I looked wonderful with a gorgeous looking tan. It wasn't until I went to Australia that I found out about the dangers of skin cancer. These days when I go traveling in the tropics I wear a high factor sun cream.
I have green eyes and think that my eyes are too dark. I wish that I had blue eyes. I wouldn't wear colored contact lenses. I just put up with the color of eyes that I have got.
I have got two poodles and I was able to choose the colors. Appearance is different because it isn't easy to change. Simply it is a case of the grass is always greener.

Hahaa, well said. I think the supreme being is a bit confused with the human race He created (if you believe in Him). Coz when He made each individual, I believe he considered a lot of things. But I think He ended up giving certain characteristics to individuals who didn't want it and gave other characteristics to the individuals who really wanted the qualities of the other individual. Am I making sense?
