I think in love we should not ask for a return. If we ever give 100% of our hearts giving her the best we can give it's part of loving. When you go for a relationship their is always risk. Sometimes we win or loose what is important is feeling love than not having love at all. It's easy to forgive but to forget it will take time. But if you still love her even her mistakes is easy to accept her faults and just forgive and forget. It is hot to handle but to cold to hold. Have a nice day!

I'm a woman, and I think the same question can be applied to heart broken women. To answer your question, I don't think you should regret helping the person. Maybe you were destined to meet her mainly to help her out in whatever way you did. But that it was your destiny to be apart from her after you've helped her out. She will be reminded of you and of what you did to her and I honestly believe that she's thankful for that in one way or another. But on the other hand, did it cross your mind that maybe the person didn't want your help and she regretted that you intervened?
