Free Stuff, Sweepstakes, Contests - Good Grief

What is up with all the freebie sites, sweepstakes sites and contest sites. If you find one that you think you might like to join or take advantage of, you have to go through hours of questions and offers on really dumb stuff before you reach the end of the sign up. After you go through the questions and offers, then you have to purchase something or accept a magazine offer or something else you aren't interested in - then maybe -you might reach a submit site where you are finally signed up. NOT! Does any body have any freebie sites that don't require a lifetime of personal history before you can sign up. How about sites that don't lead you to countless spam or 'other related offers' you're not interested in? Good Grief.

I know of a couple of them... todaysfreebies.com and shop4freebies. You have to register but don't have the hassle of going through all the other millions of questions those other sites do. I like to go to the forums on those sites because they are usually chock-full of information. Hope this helps. :)

Try www.freecycle.org This is a non-profit community of people swapping stuff or giving it away for free. You will hopefully find a local group.

I agree with you all the way. And sorry to say I haven't found a site yet that doesn't do this. I have quit looking at these type of sites because it is just to much hassle.

oh i know. i've got to check out these responses you get to see. Ive been through so much of the same thing. glad you brought it up. its the same with those crappy survey spots where your supposed to get paid. learned not to fall for that any more.

I will look forward to some responses on this as I've been looking for the same thing. I want my freebies "free", no spam or membership just to get it. It's good to know that there are many freebies on the net, but the only freebies that I got so far is freeware and pirated stuffs. I want those real freebies. Someone please shed some light on this.
