Do you order pizza on your day off work?

Today is my spouse's day off work.
And he asked me to order a pizza online
for delivery.
And I was all for it.
But then changed my mind.
On his days off, I have plenty of time
to cook healthy food.
Why should I order pizza on those days?
Best to save my pizza money for days that he
works when I don't have two hours to spend
in the kitchen!
Do you prefer to order pizza on your day off
or save pizza day for times when you don't want
to cook?

I ordered pizza this past weekend. I didn't feel good so I decided to order pizza from Pizza Hut online. I got a pretty good deal since it was my first time ordering a pizza online from Pizza Hut.I ordered a medium pan pizza with 3 toppings for under $8.00. Well by the time taxes were added it was almost $12.00. It was pretty good deal.

Recently our Pizza Hut started
charging $2.50 delivery charge.
That's still a good deal considering
it takes that much in gas to run our
car down to pick it up. Not to mention
that it takes at least half an hour in traffic
both ways. We get the better deal and end
up spending more time together!
No dishes for me either if I use paper plates!

I order pizza whenever the mood hits. I work full time and about 9 times out of 10 - I order it on the weekdays when I'm working. On the weekends- you are right there is more time to make that great meal! So I do. Sometimes when we have friends up for cards we order pizza on the weekends.

Pizza with friends is always fun.
I like it for movie night too.

I have not ordered a pizza in a long time. The last time I remember haing pizza was a ew months ago in Arizona, when my husband made us one. It was absolutely delicious. He topped it off with shrimp, smoked oysters, and all kinds of Asian vegetables.

I feel the same way. We only go out or get take out like once a week or every 2 weeks. I definitely would rather get take out when I'm exhausted than on a day off when I have time and energy to cook. I really can't remember the last time we got pizza but I love homemade pizza which I make about once a month.

Good for you! Save your energy for stuff
you'd rather be doing! Honestly if I had
an extra hour I'd rather spend it deep cleaning
a closet or the kitchen cabinets!
They really need the work.

If we are going to have a takeaway then it is usually on a Friday night to celebrate the end of the week! My hubby finishes work at lunch time on a friday for the weekend and so he picks the kids up from school and we have a takeaway and that means no cooking or rushing about for me. Good isn't he? We have though recently stopped having them so often as we want to save the money now instead so we just have one once a fortnight instead!

WE usually se our pizza ordering days for during the weekdays when I just am so tired I don't feel like spending a few hours in the kitchen. It's a nice treat to just pick up the phone and have the food just come to me instead of having to slave away after a long day of work!

Not usually but sometimes I do it.
IF I have a day off I often have plenty of time to cook and since I like cooking, ordering a pizza is not the first option.
I sometimes order a pizza, or some other food, on fridays, specially when I had a busy week and I'm really tired.

Hi beauty,
It depends...There are time that we just want to sit down and relax by watching movies so we will end up ordering online but we agreed to just do it like once or twice every two months!
We are scared to gain so much weight by eating,,LOL! Since I know when I eat, I really eat to the maximum level!

I'm not a huge pizza lover so I don't order it very often at all. I would much rather order chinesse food or fried chicken if I were ordering something in. But the odd time I do order in pizza because my daughter really likes it and I don't mind some once in awhile.
I would prefer to make my own sometimes. I buy the crust already made and add the stuff to put on it myself. I add a lot of sliced meats when I make mine and lots of cheese. If I am making it myself I sure make it a lot better than any restaurant does.
But sometimes it is nice to not have to cook so it is a treat just to order in no matter what it is we are ordering.

My hubby and I both worth week days and have the weekends off so, I cook Monday through Friday and take the weekend (Saturday and Sunday and some Fridays) to just veg. I don't cook on the weekends. It is my little way to make sure that I don't get burnt out on cooking. Plus, I feel like I have 2 other responsibilities that I have to attend to on the weekends that sort of replace the fact that I am not working. I have to plan the weekly menu and do the grocery shopping on Saturday and then I have to clean the house on Sunday so, I feel like I should be allowed to let go of the cooking duties on the weekend. LOL! I know...it is probably flawed logic but, it is my logic and I love it! LOL! So, we go out and grab food wherever and whenever we both feel like it on the weekends. That sometimes means Pizza.

I am not a fan of take away pizza, I prefer buying pizza from a shop and putting it in the oven. I tend to do this days when I cannot be bothered to cook since it is easy. I understand that he may want to a have pizza, because he is looking forward to a lazy day as he has no work and does not want to lift a finger (or cook).

I save pizza for those super busy days or days when I am too tired or too sick to cook.

I love pizzas but my family and children very rarely gets to eat them. We also very rarely have takeouts because we do cook our food daily from scratch. I do get pizza while at work once in a while but not just at home. Its just a matter of what we were used to with my parents. I think its kinda good because we do get to eat healthy food everyday. During my days off, that is the time that I cook something special for my family.

Sometimes, we order pizza but most of the time i make my own pizza. But ordering saves time and whenever I feel lazy or no time to do cooking at all, we just order.
