I think you mean the original theatrical version versus the special edition.
I like the special edition versions, it was much more likable, except for one part: Lucas must have been smoking something when he deleted the ewok victory song at the end of Return of the Jedi.

no. not the theatrical version. star wars was first released in the 80's then it was remake in the 2000's.

There were 6 episodes that were shown at the theater.
Three episodes (4-6) were re-done to be SPECIAL EDITIONS and shown again at theaters.
So, arent you asking like what I commented...original 77-80 versions vs 2000 special editions?
Thought I answered that already.

I would want to see the remakes, if it's just a few editing. I've never watched the original release. Will they add, like never-before seen scenes? I am loving the star wars but I just don't have the resources to know more.

that is what was trying to say, there are already cuts in the remake version and some changes in the story.

I only like the originals. I didn't agree with having a back story on everything. Why do we need to know what Darth Vader was like as a child? That took away all of the mystery out of that character. I really didn't care about what happened in the past that lead to the events in the future. Sometimes things just need to be and not be messed with.

you know what i am not really sure if i have seen the remake, i know i have
seen the orignal when i was kid. I am guessing i have seen the remake.
i know at the end of the third starwars movie i did notice that when the ghost
obi and yodi are standing there and when anakin joins them he looks
like anakin from the last three movies instead of the older guy that was there
before. But i couldnt tell ya any other diffrences because it been so long since
i have seen the orignal
