Shopping is the first item on the list of every woman's favourite hobbies. A woman would be lying if she said that she doesn't love coming home with bagsful of new clothes and the joy of wearing something new for the first time. It may be after a hard day's work, after a broken relationship, after a fight with her spouse or boyfriend, shopping is every woman's first love. For some shopping is a stress buster. Each one of us has our own favourite style, out favourite stores, and our own shopping haven. What is your favourite store, your personal haven?

Without doubt, shopping is every woman's favorite pasttime, and every woman's fantasy. But with the rising prices, it's no longrer practical to always want to shop just for the fun of it. I have some favorite shopping haven, but there is no more frequent trips there, unlike in the past. Well, to be more practical, I just do shopping when it's only necessary. Priority now will be for groceries and food. Clothes and accessories are no longer a necessity...it's just a matter of discipline....but shopping really helps relieve stress like no other...

Obviously it's not every woman's favorite pasttime. There are quite a few of us who have spoken up and said, "NO! I hate shopping!" {em}happy{/em}

Ummm...actually, I don't like clothes shopping and it's definitely not the first item on my list of favorite hobbies. Also, I'm not lying. You've presented a stereotype and boxed all women into one little box. Just because people don't fit into your view of things doesn't make them a liar.

Ooohh. I agree with you dear! Shopping is a stress buster. It gives us ladies joy and happiness after a hard day's work, a broken relationship and it still gives us happiness during happy times. Shopping can make us crazy most of the time, even if it's just window shopping. I have quite a number of shopping havens. Some that are included in my list are:
1 Fashion Palazzo in Podium- I love the stores there. Their clothes, accessories and shoes are fabulous. Plus, their prices are cheaper and the quality of the products are sure worth it.
2. Archeology Wing in Powerplant- Almost the same as Fashion Palazzo although there are more stores and the prices are higher.
3. Zara- Their tops, dresses, bags and shoes are awesome but their prices are double than that of Palazzo and Archeology.
So there, my top 3 shopping haven. I always go gaga when I go there. Even when I don't have the money to shop, I always check out their items and even though it kills me not to be able to buy it, I still feel a little happy just seeing girly stuffs.

What you said isnt true... I am a woman and shopping for me is one of the least fun things to do... i mean walking around looking at clothes? sounds a bit boring to me... and all that walking around... that's boring too... i'd much prefer sitting in front of the box watching a good old movie

I love to shop when I have money LOL I don't often but when I do, it's usually on my birthday, mother's day, and at Christmas time. I have lots of favorite stores but I mostly shop for bargains and when there are big sales. It is most definitely a stress reliever for me at times, even if I don't buy anything but just looked around and window shopped!

I love shopping for clothes, shoes and books. My favorite apparel store would be Max that's in my city. I already have all of the good stuff this store sells for this season so I also haunt Levis and United Colors of Benetton for Western Wear. For ethnic Indian wear like tunics (kurtis), I prefer FabIndia or GoodThings.
My favorite bookstore would be Blossoms. This place is like an antique..and sells books at very modest prices.

I'm the exception to the rule ... I HATE shopping - especially for clothes! Maybe the pretty, young women enjoy buying clothing, but when you are older and not very attractive - with a bit of extra weight - it causes more misery than anything else. I have clothes which are 10-15 years old - and I wear them until they fall to bits because there's no way I'm ever going into a changing room in a store! My weakness is books - I could spend hours and hours in bookstores and spend thousands; so I'd have to say my favourite store is Dymocks in Sydney!

well, i will be honest with you that i am not really that fond of shopping and i don't buy new things that often... may be it is because i have a limited budget and i don't want to spend my money on unnecessary stuffs... otherwise, my house will be full of junks and i don't have enough place to put them... you make a generalisation here which might not be true for every women... i will say most of the women love shopping... but not every women... take care and have a nice day...

i also love shopping as any other women. but at this point of life, i am not much into it. rather i am more focussed on my dad's ill health and how to make his treatment, doctors, money etc,. once these crisis is settled, i think i will shop with peace of mind.

Sorry but im going to have to disappoint you here,as my love is not shopping,in fact there are many times when I will use the internet rather than visit a department store,but thats always been me.Once in a while I will go and take a look ariund Debenhams or one of the big stores ,I like Marks and Spencers too,and I go to a retail park to visit them there.

I think I have a problem, lol, I love buying groceries, when I go out with friends, I enjoy window shopping, then I promise to buy the clothes, or stuff I want if I have money, but If I have money, I'd change my mind and buy groceries instead. I dunno, I feel like food, or healthy stuff is worth buying than clothes and shoes. I'd buy something like that when I really need to like if there's a party or just I got tired of wearing the same clothes over and over,lol. have fun!
