The Rosales saga. Wait...not much people know that. I guess for the international flavor my vote is to Harry Potter. It is a good story. Very good indeed.

I know the rosales saga by F. Sionil Jose. I've read one, Mass. I like it also. I havent read any harry potter books yet though...

My favourite novel is Seven Years in Tibet and it is by Heinreich Harrer. I like it because through it I came to know about the free Tibet,before it was occupied by China,it also described the fierceness and beauty of the Himalayan Mountains.

My all time favorite is Eragon. Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings are close behind. In my opinion Eragon and LOTR are better written than harry potter but not a significant differance
