Does listening to music always lifts one up ?

Yes,listening to music always refresh our mind and body.I think it is a best medicine to releave our tension.

music can either brings us down or lift us up depending on the type of music we listen. there are music that could brings us down - these are the type of music that are lonesome and sad. these can bring us down whenever we hear them specially when we are lonely or in a bad mood. however there are also good music that can lift our spirit us and makes us happy. these are the good and happy music.

whether it picks me up or enhances a depression or makes me ponder etc etc etc...Music has ALWAYS had a major effect on my mood and emotions...

It can do either. Sometimes when I am down I like to listen to sad songs and get it all out. But uplifting songs can difinitely have a positive effect on my mood. The type of music I listen to depends on the mood I am in.

In my opinion music always lifts one up...But it depends on the type of the music we are listening to...Music makes me active and fresh even after a long sleep or after working for long time...Listening too much may effect ones mind..like losing concentration etc.,listening to the same music makes us feel bored...

sometimes, when i listen an old song, i remember the past and i become nostalgic. but whenever i need to pull the plug i always count on my personal songs and i can change my feelings being transported by a vortex of emotions

Yes it does lift me up. I think only emos are brought down when listening to music. No offense though to other emo out there, thats IMHO because that's how I see some emos here in the Philippines. Peace out.
