I have been on mylot for so long, strange feelings are running through my mind and my fingers. First, it feels like the whole lower left hand side of the keyboard is missing.
Now, it feels like the keyboard has a giant hump right in the middle and the letters slope down on either side.
There's a reflection against the blackness of the laptop from the lamp that's distracting me and I feel like I'm moving far away from the computer and this room.
I know you understand why I'm saying good night. Please tell me weird things happen to you when you mylot for too long!
Catch you in the morning. Hopefully, my key board and my brain will be in one piece again.

i'm coming back on after being off for awhile. i had to stop because i was feeling a combination of numbness and a possibility of spontaneous combustion. and i didn't want the latter. so i'm good now. you are smart to have yourself unwind for the grip of myLot. when you come back you'll be refreshed.

greenglitter - Spontaneous combustion is possible. I think your keyboard has to be really hot and then it transfers the heat your body. Only kidding.
Your comment sent me my first smile of the day. I am refreshed - hopefully today will be normal.

well, you definitely need a break and it's time for you to go away from your computer... i always make sure that i don't stay in front of the computer for too long and i always take some time off after i am here for about 2 hours maximum... i don't want to strain my eyes and my body and risk my health just for few pennies... it's just not worth it... take care and have a nice day...

kun - I know. I don't think I have ever spent as much time on the computer as I did yesterday.
I'm only on for a bit tonight, letting everyone know who cares, that I'm not some psycho girl.
Just a girl who worked too hard without eating or taking breaks.
Add that to all the things I'm trying to work out, what a mess. I'll muddle through, I always do.

littleowl hi. I just commented on Tamarafireheart's comment, but I didn't check what time she sent it to me. I'm fine, I was just too tired last night. I popped off that comment and went to sleep. I woke up this morning and everyone thinks I'm crazy. Oh well. I probably am.

I don't get that sleepy on the computer. When I'm tired, I shut it off and go up to bed. I think you need some more time away from myLot!

Anawar, you need to get out and have some FUN!! I realized today that it's been too long since I got out. But on the bright side, I was stuck here today because I got the new fiber optic AT&T cable/phone/tv. No more tv outages when I'm trying to see where the tornadoes are! It makes very little sense to have an outage during a tornado watch/warning. It costs less than my other services and DISH combined so I'm saving money. Hooray!
Go out tomorrow, take a walk, buy an ice cream cone and do some people watching. Then come back and talk to us, capitalize on your adventures!

hi anawar.oh yes weird things happen to me too when I work here much too long. I keep falling asleep with my finger on a key.
My face hits the keyboard and wakes me up . I have just typed a whole line of ks clear across the screen. so now I have to delete the typing mess I made and finish sending the response. The window also elongated and filled the whole screen as did anything above my response, and I still had this one line of ks across the
entire screen. oh my.

Well it seems your mind is already playing tricks on you. I suggest a good night sleep is what you mind is telling you to do. But if symptoms persist then its better to consult a doctor. I guess Mylot is indeed addicting already that you have been experiencing this past few hours? I hope you'll feel better when you are fully rested.

Hello anawar! I am sorry for your frightful experience however I am glad to say that I have yet to experience such things and hope not to for they sound scary. Maybe you just need to limit your time on mylot and I know it's addicting but try to do it. Take care and God Bless you!

Hahaha! Weird things happen to me all the time, whether I'm on myLot too long, or doing anything else!
Of course, weird things happen more frequently to those of us who are... ummm... mature? I'm losing things from my body that used to be there, and gaining some other things that were never there before!
Just yesterday, for instance, something new happened. I had two doctor's appointments, one in the morning 57 miles away, and the other in the late afternoon, just 8 miles from my home, thank goodness! One was my rheumatologist, the other my G.P. I saw the rheumatologist and informed her of all my new aches and pains and, before seeing my G.P., I gained a new one! My knee started feeling like it was being stabbed with a knife every time I took a step.
I had told my rheumatologist about my knee feeling like it was "twisting" every time I walked on it and she just shrugged it off as "a little arthritis". My G.P., on the other hand, said he saw the swelling and examined it, saying I had loss of motion.
So, I have to go have an M.R.I. of my knee. Geez.
Sorry, I got WAAAAAY off-topic here! My mind... I guess I've been on myLot too much, too? Actually, to answer your question, yeah, strange things happen when you're on the computer too much... especially a laptop. I don't know what it is about laptops. I use both, so I know what you're saying... kinda. It's not myLotting, it's being on the computer.
You also have a lot more on your mind lately (your son). That can have an affect on your brain as well! It just sounds like you're just tired. Your brain is saying "Okay... time to turn things off."
Hopefully, when you read this, you'll be rested and ready to take on another day.

It is normally happen when your eyes is getting tired.
So, I'll take a rest every hours for a couple of minutes to refresh my eyes.
I have problems with my vision and was using eyeglasses right now, so as much as possible I don't want to increase my eyeglasses grade.
[i]All the best,Agihcam[i]

agihcam - My dr. told me my eyesight is 24/I can't see anything without my contacts or glasses. I can't see the big E on the eye chart.
I never thought my vision might worsen from working on the computer too much. That makes sense to me.
Travel lightly. anawar out.

well u are undergoing a process known as "HALLUCINATIONS". often occurs with me when i am animating things on the computer for too long every day. the only good solution to this is to get urself a good nice bath and go to sleep. the next morning u get up u will find evrything perfectly ok............. thats it. if it doesnt cure itself better go meet the doctor.

ankitnewton - It's comforting to know you have experienced my weird perceptions or hallucinations and know it's from too much computing.
I spent way too much time here yesterday. but I had so much fun, I didn't pace myself, or take enough breaks. Today, I'll be careful and not drive my mind buggy. Maybe my brain got tired of thinking!
