what did you miss about being a little kid?

I miss by brother's love. We were so close when i was a kid. He was used to hold my hand tightly while going school and crossing road. I miss the little-little fights with him. now we are so far from each other. not physically. Its mentally and emotionally.

i missed being carefree.... when i was a kid i loved playing hide and seek with my friends. we rode our bikes and visit each others house. i missed the idea of waiting for Santa Claus every Christmas and find out that it was my uncle. what i miss the most? my parents hugs every time i fall, every time i got hurt and every time i felt sad and i can't sleep at night.

I think the biggest thing for me is being allowed to make mistakes. Seems like once we become adults, other adults feel we are not allowed to make those anymore. They are less forgetful of your errors and less forgiving.

That's a very good question, it really makes me think about so much. Summer was always the best times for me as a child. Every summer I would look forward to my mom setting up the pool. We only had a small one but I loved it. Even though the water would be lopsided every year with one end being deep and the other like a puddle, it was so much fun! I also enjoyed waiting for the icecream man each night. The ice cream was so good back then. Not like now. Everything now seems to have gotten so cheap! The best part of my childhood though would have to be the weekend trips to my grandmothers house. I would go every weekend without fail. I even enjoyed the ride there. I remember my dad would make every car ride fun by making crazy faces at the passing cars to see the other peoples expressions. It was so funny to me, but I wonder what the other people thought? thanx for that question, It brings back alot of good memories!

your dad really loves you so much. what i miss when i was kid was the plays that we had, when we climb the trees to get some fruits, when we collected spiders and the way our old neigbor yells at us when we get some mangoes from his land, the time when we had no responsibilities. i miss it so much.

I miss the life of having no problems to think about. When i was a kid, problem is non existent. That is a very nice stage of life. How i wish i could go back to that stage of life before.

This is a good question... obviously, the main things I miss are the family members who are no longer living. I miss having few responsibilities and not being the one who has to deal with household finances and so forth. Luckily, my mum is still here for me whenever i need a bit of TLC as are my sons, I still get toys for Christmas, splash in puddles, lose myself in my imagination, watch kids TV shows.....
