They always said this kind of stuff is for little kid or children. One time, when I dropped by in a convenience store before going to work, I saw different flavors of lollipop and it really craves me. I decided to buy 5 pieces. When I eat those stuff in the office, people stared at me as if I did something bad. And later on a bunch of tease burst out as they are laughing telling me that as a grown up, I should not better do this kind of thing! It's unlady like! I am not a child anymore! Goodness, does it mean that I am 20's I am prohibited of eating this stuff? Are lollipop really made for little children? What's wrong eating this one? Huh, what do you think?

Lollipop, lollipop, oh lolli lolli lolli...oops, sorry I love that song. AND I love lollipops...charms are the best. Speaking of suckers/lollipops etc, does anyone like the caramel-apple pops? They have caramel on the top and I ate them all the time when I was a kid but I can't find them anywhere!!! Any ideas on where I should look for them?

I love lollipops and I am 51 years old. I still buy them. I buy them by the bag full.
That way I have enough to last me for a few weeks. I won't ever outgrow my want of
lollipops.
I have lots left over from halloween last night and now I have enough in my house to
last me a few months, I think.
But if I see one at the store that looks good I will still buy it even though I have
some at home. I will take it to my car and open it and start licking. hehe
Alrighty then, talk to you later,
your friend, chris.

Unless you are slurping loudly or talking with it in your mouth there is nothing wrong with a lollipop. Doctors and medical experts even recommend lollipops over other hard candies even for adults. Not that they hold any nutritional value, but you are less likely to choke on a lollipop then other hard candies without a stick.

I also like doing childish stuff sometimes because I just miss the things I was able to do when I was a child. It is not only eating lollypop stuff but also playing games, travelling inside toy stores and being stubborn for no reason :)
Todays world is not a good place anymore as you might already noticed. The people who are grown up are just making the world worse and worse so I would prefer to stay as a child but this is not in my hand and unfortunately,I have grown up. Now I am obiligated to get into that "bad" world and face the bad side. I didn't like it really... It has been a shocking thing to see what kind of sick things are heppening here...
But still... WHenever I see a toy shop I just enter and look around, I just look at the toys I used to play and see the ones I just dreamed but was not available in those days. It is also pleasurable. There are some toys I had dreamed about in my childhood but now they are already in the stores :)
I think there is nothing wrong with lollypop after all.. Feel free to live your childhood again and to make your lollypop more delicious, just think of your childhood memories :)

Tell your co-workers its not against the law nor is there an age limit. Show them the wrapper there are no age limits. Thanks for reminding me i have one of those big 8 inchers in my underwear drawer. Yummy! Made out of same stuff in other hard candies. They wouldnt be jealous if they'd go get one of their own. I also love the "slow poke" and "black cow".

Hello sweetbarbie22...
Some grown ups are far too busy concerning themselves with being "grown up".
They forget or lose touch with their inner self.
It is the WISE person who keeps that child-like innocence alive.
It is what keeps you feeling young, and your mind creatively sharp.
It is healthy to do so. Then think on this: for those that have teased me,
are they not acting like jealously spoiled little children?
Learn to ignore the insulting tonge, and to duck the provoking blow.
Simply respond to them in an ADULT manner.
Remember the words of the Deseterada, and always keep them close in your heart:
"You are a child of the universe...no less than the trees and the stars.
You have a RIGHT to be here. And, whether or not it is clear to you, the universe is unfolding, as it should."
Go ahead, and eat as many lollipops as you like!
cheers;
commanderxo

children are born themselves and sometimes o someone he interests to live again those
wonderful moments,a world of children would be rich of smiles
and joy, lollipop a stà badly every now and then does not sweeten the mind
and the mind and the joy of living.

If you like lollipops and you can manage to eat them while working, that's your business! I would find it difficult to do because you can't talk with one in your mouth, can't really set it down without making a mess, etc. But, candy is candy and you like what you like. Usually people tease either because they are jealous and want what you have but just won't admit it.

I also hate things like that when people say "You're a grown up! Why do this/that?". It's really annoying what society dictates. It's usually untrue and irrational. I love lollipops. Don't mind them. Even if they tease you, you're the one enjoying the lollipop anyway. And as "adults", they don't get to enjoy the simpler things in life. So good for you! :D

In my opinion eating lollipops is fine for any age - but at work I don't think so. If someone has to talk to you and you have a stick hanging out of your mouth it really doesn't look right. When you talk to someone you have to take it out of your mouth and hold it which is also not a professional thing to do. I can see if you don't have contact with anyone or you are not talking on the phone but I would just save the lollipops for home or in your car to and from work. Nothing wrong with enjoying them just not at work.

There is nothing wrong with eating a lollipop if you want it eat it. If it was a bunch of guys who were saying something about you eating it. They were thinking of something dirty.

Hey, I am almost 40 and I love lollipops. I like the watermelon, cinnomin, cherry, and rootbeer flavors the best. I get them all of the time and I will keep them around the house hid from the kids or in my purse and if I get were my mouth is dry from my meds then I will open one up. I still have the bad habit of eating the sticks also.
I also like the small Dum Dum lollipops when I just want a quick fix for one. I really don't think anyone is too old for a lollipop. We need as adults to still have some things that just reminds up of childhood.
Why should we be afraid to eat candy that others think are just for the little ones?
