Byland, Air or Sea trip?

We would travel by car. Simply because hubby was scared to fly before 9/11 & won't step foot on a plane now. Plus we can go at our own pace & pit stop as we need to along the way.

Most of all I love to travel by train when this is possible. Then I can look out of the window at the passing scenery and sleep in a comfortable compartment in the night time. There is usually lots of leg room and the seats are often quite nice. Europe has an excellent train system. I have been inter railing there and been on Amtrak Trains in the USA. Australia has some wonderful long distance train journeys. New Zealand has some very scenic journeys like mountains and coastlines. If a train line isn't available I travel by bus. However seats are not comfortable for overnight journeys and often there is not much legroom.

I like to travel mostly by land - train or bus. This way i think i can thoroughly enjoy scenery and enjoy the travel. If you opt to go by sea, what you can see except water everywhere? You pretty well know what you can see when travelling by air. One more advantage in land travel is that it is usually long and extended and you can enjoy every bit of it!

I like by Air. It is the fastest and I enjoy travelling by Air. This 16th I will have to travel 18 hours, but transit through Singapore. I enjoy it.

Well,when I'm going on vacations I take boat.And I usually only travel in the US by land.But I sometimes take plane when I"m going cross country or dont quit feel like driving 18 hours.

if time is enough, I really like by train or by sea, I like to watch the window and watch the view of two sides lonely, silently.... but after taking part in work, there is no enough time at all, by air is the top choice, and even only take weekend in deed... if there is no limitation for time and money, I choose by train..

i like all sorts of transportation. there are different things to see on each one. for sure air travel saves me loads of time especially when travelling to another country. land and sea travel offers sights and views that air travel cannot. people are also more willing to talk when travelling by land or sea. hours of sitting together just make people feel more friendly. however, the same can't be said for air travel. being stuck in the same tight space for a few hours makes me feel that i don't ever want to see my fellow travellers again. cheers ;p

i prefer travelling in air, through airplane or hellicopter, because it's safer when there is an earthquake.

It depends on where I'm going and who I'm going it with. By air will get you to the destination a whole lot faster, so it's very convenient. But it usually costs more. For other long distance trips, by train or by bus is ok as long as they are clean, comfortable and have wide leg rooms. Sea trip isn't something I'm very fond of, but then it all depends on how big the ship is and how far away the destination is.
