Why do people from villages migrate to cities?

The trend of rural people migrating to cities is increasing at an alaraming rate.When people come to cities,their aspiration changes dramatically.What does motivate village people to migrate to cities? Do they really fulfill their dreams and aspirations? or Do they get frustrated to lead a happy life and cope with the city life?

People migrate to cities to search for better jobs. In order to find success in cities they need to have the right job skills and qualifications. Without the right skills and qualifications it would be difficult to survive in cities. Besides the right skills and qulaifications also need to have good contacts. Some rural people succeeded in finding happines and some failed.

money, job, food, shelter, hope for better living and education. Many of them get fed up with the city life. Very few succeed.
