Brett Favre reportedly has been offered a $20 million dollar buyout. Should he take it or not? The Favre saga continued...

From what I heard it is $20 mill over 10 years. I don't know if that is a good deal or not. If he is still able to play well he could probably make more. But I am not enjoying this soap opera. I have always liked Favre but now I don't know...

I thought he quit when he retired and knew that the organization was in good hand with Rogers. I don't think he will take the buyout and will show up on friday.

I suspect you are right. You know, though, the one person I have been impressed with during this is Aaron Rogers. He has a lot of class for a young guy and has handled himself during this admirably.

i think he should take the $20 million.they didn't want him back on the team anyway they think he's getting old.i think he should just run with it. lord forbid they do decide to let him play and he get injuried then what.

It looks like he won't take it and they will end up trading him to the Vikes.

I think he should grow up. He retired; he shouldn't be jerking his team around like this. He agonized over his decision at the end of the season; now we have to go through it all over again. Because he's being selfish. How does he expect his team to get on with it if he behaves like this? It's getting very tiresome. I didn't think they should give him the money. I don't think they should let him play. He's old news.

I like your word this. I agree with you about not giving him the money, and a solution to this would be to bench him. Packer fans are loyal and if they are true they will stand behind their team 110%.

He should just take it and be happy with all of the destruction he has caused us fans in Green Bay. He is just being selfish by wanting to come back and he made that press conference where he cried about retiring and now it seems to me that he was faking. This is stupid to think that when he said he was done really meant, "I will let you plan for the future, and then I will come back, rip those plans apart, and force you to make an uncomfortable decision." He should take it and go back to Mississippi. For all the organization has given him- a job through his painkiller addiction, trading for him when he was unknown, he needs to give back by staying away.
