I also used Limewire but sometimes the site contains some malicious content and some viruses that why if you are a active user of Lime wire you must have a good anti virus protection to your computer.

I use Limewire too, it's user friendly, easy to use, even for a Wolf! I have always used it, I can't use Napster because I have a Mac but that was the first site I used to download music, I liked Napster but there was a big problem with music companies because people were downloading music for free. I pay a subscription so I am not getting music illegally so I am covered. Limewire is also pro-active with Itunes. I hardly ever use it now because I have all the music I want.

I used limewire before. I loved it for limewire is fast. But the computer that was with a limewire was pulled-out from the office and transferred it to somewhere. Now I don't download music and I never wanted to install one to the one I am using right now. I don't want to put a lot of programs here and I am afraid this computer may get slow. If I get my own computer, someday, I will use limewire again. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

When it comes to downloading music, I prefer using Strong DC++. I login to local hubs where I can find a large variety of music, and I can reach download speeds up to 1-2 MB/s, commonly around 200 kB/s.
If I don't find the music that I'm looking for, I browse it on the torrent sites.
