Build or Buy?

I bought my first few computers including my laptop but, is it more feasable to build? I have built a few and you can make them how you want. It is a lot easier to get a system pre-built but, I know a few people who would rather make their own. I noticed that a few that I bought didn't last much longer after the warranty ran out even with the extended one. Do the companies send gremlins or something to crash your system just to make more money or is just the parts that they use?

I built the computer I'm using right now. It's my first build actually. There are a number of benefits to building your own computer. First and foremost among them is the knowledge you gain and simply the "hands on" experience that you won't get just through general use. Building a computer is surprisingly easy. Perhaps the hardest part about building one is, in my case anyway, finding the components needed for the build. I had a ball building mine and I'm anxious to build another one once I'm out of debt. Another benefit to building your own computer is that you can build one that is 100% upgradeable, something your not going to get with proprietary brands like HP for instance. Also, according to what I've read, the reason you can get prebuilt PC's so cheap nowadays is because the company uses cheaper, lower quality components. So, building your own PC may cost a little more, but if you do it right, it will probably last a lot longer than the proprietary models.

Building computer is better than buying. When you built your computer you will about each and every part of your computer. In case of any problems you can troubleshoot on your own as you know about your computer better than any other person. There is no worry about the warranty of the computer, you may not get warranty for whole computer. But you get warranty for each and every part of the computer that you buy from mouse to monitor. I prefer to built my computer on my own.

I have built a few on my own now and they run better and seem to be lasting a lot better also. I enjoy getting my hands in there and learning every possible thing I can.

In today's market there are too many people were just looking for the chance to earn money which cheating people. If a person is not very much aware of the hardware has and their qualities, as he is not able to detect on the manufacturing quality is another sort of thing is that it is a very big problem for him. I have personally experienced that a lot of people go for a somewhat computer which the idea built themselves or they do it from an assembler and after a few months the computer starts giving problem no matter how good the configuration is. I am pretty sure that the parts which are used in the computer are not genuine or they are cheap quality hardware is installed on the computer data which the computer starts giving problem at a very early stage this is the reason why I personally feel that it is better to invest a bit more money on the computer and get a branded one. Although you pay a bit more on a branded computer what you will soon realise that it is worth investing the money. Previously first computer was a branded Hewlett-Packard desktop and let me tell you I never faced any problem with the hardware of that particular PC after that when I went for an assembled computer which I have built myself the hardware is used to give me a lot of problem. I had to change my Smps quite a few times never happened with many older branded computer. These are the things which really creates problem and so it is better to go for a branded one.

I absolutely swear by building. I believe that you are able to get far superior warranty's and save money. I have built 3 computers and i love just being able to pick and choose every part. Other builders like dell will say its high quality but maybe skimp out on the power supply or ram or something crucial. my favorite place to shop for computer parts is newegg.com. If you need any help choosing parts just message me. -Sawyer
