doomstay982 I use my computer for surfing the web, reading, homework, watching movies, playing video games, working on editing, special effects for video, chating doing a lot of research and downloading free stuff.

With Christmas just around the corner, I am looking at updating my computers, and was wondering would I be better going for a Laptop, which seem as good as desktop machines nowadays, or stick with a traditional Desktop...

doomstay982 It depends are you a student who rarely stays in ur dorm and dosent need a very strong computer then go for a laptop (and just for info. the stronger ur notebook is the less time it can run on a battery ) but if you want alot of space more then 1-2 terabytes...

hello all!!i m a regular internet user n various times i got virus in my computer.....n have to format the whole system...i was using kaspesky...but i found tht using antivirus causes low internet speed??is it ture...plz guide me...

doomstay982 I used comodo as a firewall, avast as an antivirus, and search and destroy for spyware adn they are all free had no problems for a long while and to make sure everything goes smoothly play around with the settings.

Seriously. Can a person have a certain magnetic field going on or something. Whenever my daughter gets near a computer it will run slow, jam up, have error messages, etc. And it isn't like she is using a program that she shouldn't...

doomstay982 do you have carpets where the computer are located and if you kid does have static on her then just tell her to touch a metal piece that grounded that should solve the problem.

Have you ever thought of letting go of your restraints that you have on your mind. I did once the weird thing was that as soon I let it go I started getting scared, paranoid I thought that something in the dark was coming after me...

doomstay982 So in order to conquer my true fears i would have to let it go, face it while forcing it out since i soon i let it go i start getting even more scared. Then I would need learn to free my subconscious again since i forced my self to forget.

The one that I use now is Acer Aspire 3620, with Intel Celeron processor, 256 RAM and 40GB Hard Disk Drive. I buy it more than two years ago. If I just do the ordinary work like Ms Word etc it will not give me any problem. But...

doomstay982 i would see if you can upgrade your ram (maybe to 1 gig) since all your doing is using word and surfing the web. and I would recommend go as high as you can afford, that your mother board can understand. so go to a tech guy near you.

doomstay982 Yes i agree with you, its just that most can't go unless they miss work; and I was thinking that we should make the day a half holiday, so people can go to work but still have time do their political right. and I also believe that we should lower the voting...

doomstay982 I'll still vote for a third party even if we do lose at least i'll said to my self i (I least I took a stand.) and their are other third parties, or you can still write someone in on who you like to be prez.
