Some people think it doesn't really end up working out and they end up breaking up. Others thinnk the opposite. What do you think? Have you been in a long distance relationship before?

Yes and No.. Yes, absence makes the heart grow fonder. No, there's need to be some really strong trust between the two people as there's high chances of getting bored when you do not see each other but some may beg to differ..

I was in one for quite awhile, we eventually broke up, saw each other every other week, and we were actually engaged, he wanted me to move where he was, see we started out in the same state, then he moved, I couldn't we lasted about 2 years after then.. but it did suck ! We eventually broke off the engagement.. I was upset but not anymore :)

Not long term no. I have had a few before and they don't work you live too far away from each other and never get to see each other to make the relationship work. One of you need to give and move nearer to the other.

HI, if you can see only one time in a year I would say no, but if you have the chance to see eachother every 3 or 4 mounth I wuold say yes, I had 2 long distance one, the first went for 5 years on, but the first years we sow us every weekend, then after 3 years we were always toghether for 6 months, then we sow us every 4 months, the second time I got married with her (my first wife) but we were not so far away 850 km (me Italy she in Germany), and we could see us before living togheter, after 1 and half years that we were toghether, every 2 or 3 weeks
