I watched the movie weeks back. If u have not yet watched the movie then please do so buddy. Its one of the best movies i have seen till date. The previous batman movies are really nothing compared to The Dark Knight trust me on this one.
Heath Ledger who featured The Joker in fact acted the best. He gave his full 100% into the movie. If the movie became a box office hit a lot of credit goes to Heath Ledger absolutely.
Please don't miss out on this movie as its still running in the theaters i guess so please go and watch it and you'll enjoy watching it to the fullest.

i saw it last night and it is really good. i had heard some people say it was one of the best movies ever, but i wouldn't go that far. heath ledger actually managed to match, if not surpass, jack nicholson's performance as the joker. he pretty much made the movie for me. however towards the end i was getting very tired of batman's "cookie monster" voice. it's seemed like the actor was trying to hard on the vocals. i don't remember michael keeton ever being that comical about it. i don't know who the actress was that played rachel, but it really silly that everyone in the movie mentioned how pretty she was when honestly she looked as if she'd been hit in the nose with a wooden mallet. harvey dent's little coin-tossing habit was already played out half way throught the movie and by the time he became two-face, it was just annoying. it's like "we get it already. you make decisions by flipping coin. it's your thing that you do. whatever." overall it was a good movie with a few minor character annoyances/repetitiveness, but every movie as it's flaws. anyone who likes batman should see it at least once.

Watched it with my girl..
generally a few observations and after-thoughts:
1) Don't watch the Dark Knight as a date movie, unless you absolutely want the gal to sink her head onto your shoulder. Well, honestly it isn't that scary, but my girl did jump a few times. Heath's Joker also looked rather menacing. Harvey Dent's 2-face looked too digitalised to create any frightening effect.
2) The storyline is, not surprisingly, good.. No more cheesy Bat-duos with nipples. Very dark, very practical, very believable. It lives up to being a Detective Comics (DC) movie.
3) If I am to compare, I still prefer Batman Begins.. Just like the Matrix, what normally sticks for me is the event leading to the birth of a hero.. Then again, TDK will still stick around in my brain, thanks to the Joker.
Overall.. 2 thumbs-up. Worth the money to buy the CD when it is out (after watching it in the theater)

I have not seen the Batman movie Dark Night, and I have heard really good things about it,and about how it is a must see,but I can not say I really want to see it,because I kind of lost interest in Batman and the Batman movies about two or three movies ago, and I personally think they are overdoing it,and I know most of my friends agree and do not care to see any more Batman movies.

The Dark Knight is one of the best movies I've ever seen. As stated before Heath Ledger does an awesome job as the joker. It has many plot twists and it also has quite a bit of humor in it. The only thing i hate about this movie is Batman's voice, I find it irritating. The Dark Knight is a must see.
