Favorite fruit?

my youngest loves them tooo.. she could eat them all day.. i have not been able to get any good ones this year they all are over ripe or under ripe..

I know. especially when we go to a restaurant. We like to go to Bob Evans for breakfast and they have pretty good cantaloupe, but most in most places its hard and we can't even eat it.

i know.. i have been to restraunts and their fruit be sour tasting.. i would tell them and they would do nothing about it..

how can you tell if it is fully ripe?

well like all fruit it will get soft and also smelling it also helps alot also as with all fruits you are looking for a fruity smell if you let it get to soft it will go old thats why i put it in the fridge when it gets soft and get a slice of it when i do to see if it is ripe then if not give it a day or two to completely ripein also when you get it put it on the counter it ripeins best at room temp but can also go fast in the heat like all fruits

I never have tried banana bread, b/c every banana bread i seen has nuts. I don't really like nuts. So i have not tried any banana bread. But i love bananas. I can eat a banana sandwich all day long. When i was little my mom would fix banana and peanut butter sandwiches and those was just as good.

I understand that. But what you need to try is juicying them all together and maken a smoothie. i learned that they taste just as good as eaten the fruit. I love to conbine fruit together. I found out you can freeze it and it lastes.

Star Apples never heard of them.. Or the Taiwan apples.. I will have to search and hunt for those types and see if I can order them.

Yeah we got alot of peach farms around here. My kids always ask can we go pick some. I have to tell them no, b/c if we go they will eat them off the tree. And i don't want them to, b/c of all the spray and stuff that is on them. So i got to do it when they are gone somewhere and surprise them when they get home.

I live in alabama and this was the first year i ever bought cherries for my daughters and they loved them.. but we don't got any raspberries in the store in my area...

me too.. my hubby hates fruit unless it is a mixed drink lol...

Mine want eat fruit.. The only thing he likes fruity is a alcholic drink.. He hates fruit.. He will eat some if it is cooked in stuff, but he would rather not have it.. I love strawberries with whip cream or chocolate. Banans just plain for me. aplles I like them with a carmel dipping sauce or strawberry cream chees. It is good. Grapes are ok. My kids can make grapes disappear as fast as you buy them.

shhhh.. Don't tell my kids. They will want some.. lol. They love watermelon.. Also peaches are plentiful down here.. around my area this time of year..

yeah.. I know what you mean.. I like fruit just because. It makes no difference if it is healthy or not.

you know i tried to grow some for my daughters and i could not keep them out of them and i never saw any.. so i gave up on growing them for us..

those are somw weird combos, but ok.. never really heard of those as dips.. maybe I will tell my daughters and they can try that..
