Funny you should mention that. I don't listen to much current music these days. I guess that is why I was "taken back" when Randy Travis was on tv recently and sang his old song "Forever and Ever, Amen" which was our favorite song when my husband and I got together.

I think my favorite love song is one that has been written lately, and not so far in the past. It comes from the movie Once, a film I have actually never seen. But I've heard the song, heard it sung on TV live at the Oscars, and just fell in love with it. I had my sister buy the tune online and put it on a CD for me. It is called Falling Slowly.

I am not with anyone at the moment, but the love song that sticks out the most is "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith. My ex of 10 years and I shared that song and I still have a hard time listening to it or watching the movie which it was the theme song for Armaggedon starring Bruce Willis.

Stairway to heaven recorded by Led Zeplin. I just looked it up and it was released on November 8 1971. November 8th is my b-day. No wonder I lover the song.

I think that my first favorite love song would have to be "nothing even matters" by lauryn hill. the boy that i was dating at the time really loved the song, and after breaking up, i still love that song to this day. i don't know that i have a current favorite, but i love "heaven" by jamie foxx, "you" by jesse powell and just about anything by brian mcknight and luther vandross.

I have so many favorite love songs. I never really had a song in my relationships that was relationship specific, but so many of them mean something to me somehow. I have a TON of love songs (about 300 so far and more coming!) on my website.

I don't like love songs. Never had a favorite one, the men I was ever with weren't romantic that way. Sorry.

I have many favourite love songs; the current one is by Gene Pitney 'Something's Gotten Hold of My Heart'. My hubby sings very well; so he'd practise singing the songs I happen to like at the moment.
My first love song was 'Aubrey' by Bread - I didn't really like it; but put up with it, because it was the favourite song of the guy I was with at that time!

oh man i am a sap for love songs. when i fell in love, a song that reminded me of him was Daniel Bedingfield's "if you're not the one". it used to come out everytime i thought of him. sometimes it still does.
im not sure how romantic it can be considered, but he dedicated the song "creep" by radiohead to me. whenever i hear it i still get that warm feeling i got the night he dedicated it to me, and i miss him terribly.

My favorite love song of all time is the song, "Always and Forever" that Kip sang to Lafawnduh when they got married.
Why do you love me
Why do you need me
Always and forever
We met in a chat room
Now our love can fully bloom
Sure, the World Wide Web is great
But you, you make me salivate
Yes I love technology
But not as much as you, you see
But I still love technology
Always and forever
Our love is like a flock of doves
Flying off to heaven above
Always and forever
Always and forever.
This is the most beautiful love song ever written, and I tear up every time I hearit or sing it to my love, just like Kip did.
