DO YA STILL BELIEVE IN FAIRY TALES? HAPPILY EVER AFTER?

i love fairy tales since i was a child, and i often think that it's unfair for mermaid to hav such a sad ending, however, this world is full of mermaid, instead of cinderella or snow white...yeah, u r right, reality is reality, i guess i already awake by myself, not kissing by prince charming ^_^

May be taht's not true, i'm willing to believe it. LIfe is cruel, but i stlli believe the beauty in our life. True love can conqure everyting, i believe. But i know it's hard to find in today's life. If i'm Belle, i don't care whether the miracle happen or not, because love defeats everything. Prince charming is attractive, but in these days you also should remember, beauty is not enough, but also smart.

Sadly no, I think the Big Bad Wolf had a great feast where he roasted Little Red Riding Hood, Grandma and the 3 Little Pigs. He invited the Troll who brought along a Billy Goat gruff fricassee in a Tupperware box, the Three Bears brought Goldilocks to act as waitress and skivvy and Prince Charming began an unhealthy relationship with the wicked stepmother. Cynical? me??

By fairy tales do you mean the ones depicted in Hollywood movies, or fairy tales as they were handed down to us from centuries ago? If it's the latter, please see:

By old fairy tale standards, we are living a fairy tale.

Yes, I still do even if I'm a grown woman now.
I believe that someday like Cinderella, I'll be rich
and I'll live in a beautiful house with my one and only prince charming, one true love.

I have always loved fairy tales. And I really love reading or watching them with my kids. Every fairy tale has a message for us to learn. Good will prevail over evil. You can rely on the people who love you. It's important to stick up for what you believe in. You can change your life and find happiness. And yes, miracles do happen. Will there be a happily ever after? No, that part is of course not something one should put too much weight on. Life does have its ups and downs. But love, happiness, contentment, all that is out there, one just has to make an effort to find it and not just sit back and do nothing;)

I do not think I would say I believe in fairy tales but I like to fantisize about them. It be nice to live happily ever after, slay the dragon and get the girl. Or go on adventures, like Sinbad. Go to far away places and see exotic thing (and I dont mean the mall!). They are certainly nice to think about it our modern techo days of ours!

I need more fairy tales. Of course I have to deal with the disappointment that I can't have my happy ending as wonderfully as the characters in fairy tales do, but they just keep me aspiring for something more.
Soon, I will write my own fairy tale. And it shall be for those who hope, and are disappointed all the time, but they keep on hoping and dreaming anyway, because they believe life is meant to be a fairy tale, that we all deserve a happily ever after.
