research shows that many consumers who might pick the lower-priced option when given
just two choices will choose the medium-priced alternative if given three, consumers
try to avoid extreme options.

Good product with a high price,i think a stuff with a lower price is usually bad,but it's not absoluteness.I choose a option base my financial capacity,if i am out of money i can't buy it even if it's the lowest.

well i'm not too sure how i will react. all else being equal, i'll go for the lower/lowest priced item. i don't mind taking extreme options. if the higher priced option has something i want that the lower priced option doesn't has, i'll go for the higher priced one. i'll take the highest priced one if that's the only one with ingredients i want. it's more important to get something i want than to get something cheap but not what i want. cheers ;p

I know I am this way, I am always looking for the best deals but I have not given up to the cheapest brands. I have started using more cupons and looking for the next best thing as far as grocery items go. I hope thngs don't get any worse or I might have to start going aginst my principals in order to continue streching my dollar.
